Afterfinallydoingmywork,Itook the time to reflectuponthe commentsonthe client.The main
thingthat stoodout wasthat I couldn’tdecide whichideaIwantedtochoose,andbecause of thisI
am goingto include elementsfromidea1and workthemintoidea2 so I’mgettinga mix of both
ideas.
The main ideaforthisbeingtransitionsthroughpictures,thisactsas a flashbackintime orforwards
intime.Thisideawasoriginallyinidea1,howeverthe conceptandstoryline behindthe ideawas
too complex andIwouldstruggle toexecute the wholething,the phototransitionscene wasakey
feature tothe film,howeveraftertalkingwiththe client.Iamable to incorporate thatin myown
film.
CONTINGENCYPLANS
My mainworryisthat the shotswill notturnout as well asI hope,bythisI meanthe form andstyle.
Afterwatchingcountlesshoursof behindthe scenesfootage fromShiroStory,Isaw the sheerlength
and depthintowhichitwasshot at.
For thisI am goingto take extreme care andprecautionsintothe shots.Makingsure they’re stable
and infocus.If thisdoesnothappenthenI will have touse editorial techniquessuchaswarp
stabilizertohelpthe clipslookprofessional.
Anotherworryisthat the locationswill notbe a challenge toshootin.Tomake sure thisdoesn’t
happenI’ll be callingupthe locationsandaskingforpermissionanddoublecheckingthattheyare
available toshootin.
IF IT ALL GOES WRONG?
Good question,Iamrelying heavilyonmyselectlocationstobe able tofilmonthe day,I have no
back up plans,howeverIam hopingtodrill the shootdaysintomy casts headso theyknow whatis
goingon.The earlystartswill be worthit.My aimis to getit done in1 dayand before anylight
changeshappen.
In regardsto back up actors,I hope that my actors will keepthe date free andnotdouble book
themselves.Howeverif theydoI am able toreplace the male actors withZach Lillis,he hasbeenin
manyschool productionsand can portray a convincingrole withinacting.
My locationswill notchange asitis primarilybasedinmyhouse andthe areasurroundingitthiswill
helpme greatlyasI knowthe areaverywell.
I am aimingtoshoot itall in one day,thishas requiredextreme planningandschedulingwe canonly
waitand see whathappenswiththathoweverIam confidentitcanbe shot inone day.
