This document outlines a lesson plan for a class on contemporary Philippine arts from different regions. 9. Identity Politics are political arguments that focus upon the interest and perspectives of groups with which people identify. Identity Politics includes the way in which people may be shaped by aspects of their identity through loosely correlated social organization. Examples include social organization based on race, class, religion, gender, identity, ethnicity, ideology, rationality, sexual orientation, culture and language.
Arts grade 9, quarter 1 module 1
This tackles the arts or western classical arts and design which shows the different architecture, painting as well as sculptural works of different artists of this period. From this module, learners will learn more about the different artworks from different famous painters, architects, sculptors. They used different mediums to show the exact forms and figures to make an artworks more visible and look as a natural objects and catch the attention of the viewers. An addition to this module, it helps a lot to the skilled learners because they can get a reference about the skills they have. Quarter 1 module 1 in arts also tackles the elements of arts, as well as the principles of designs which serve as guide to every learner in doing an example of an artwork. Welcome to “Western Classical Art Traditions”, an online and offline module in Arts for Grade 9 learners of the Department of Education. This module aims to be as inclusive as possible during this trying times of the Covid19 pandemic, with series of activities that would cater the needs of learners who have internet access and smartphones and those who are unable to have access and aid of technology.

Romanesque art was characterized by its vigorous style in painting and sculpture, lavishly decorated manuscripts and retained many basic features of Roman architectural styles. It was also greatly influenced by Byzantine art with a highly innovative and coherent style.
The basic characteristics of Gothic art styles reinforce symbolic meanings. The church symbolizes the transcendence of the soul and the underlying philosophy is to create buildings of height and light.

craft designs and workmanship are excellent. A good place to
look for souvenirs and art works. Their products last a lifetime.

amazed how they do it manually. Most of the workers here are
women. In their store, you'll see different finished products
and it's worth buying some of them.
