Greet the students and review the

Philippines.

Today's lesson will be a new topic in
our study of Contemporary Philippine
Arts from the Regions. In our previous
lessons, we have explored and
analyzed different contemporary art
forms and evaluated their significance
and impact. For today's lesson, we will
focus on how to critically analyze and
interpret contemporary art.
Review and recall the topics discussed
ready for the assessment.
2. Establishing the purpose of the
lesson
Explain to the students that the lesson
aims to explore and analyze different
contemporary art forms in the
Philippines.
State the objectives of the lesson and
how it will help the students
appreciate contemporary art forms
better.
At the end of the lesson, the students
will be able to critically analyze and
interpret contemporary art by
identifying the elements and
principles of art used in the artwork,
interpreting the message or meaning
conveyed by the artwork, and

teacher will guide the students on
how to interpret the meaning of
the artwork based on their
analysis of the elements and
principles of art used in the
artwork, as well as their
understanding of the cultural,
social, and political context in
which the artwork was created.

of the Philippines, and the students

see in their daily lives.
Discuss the significance of
contemporary art forms in their
lives and communities.
Ask the students to share how they
can apply the concepts and skills they
