Omar Bin Abdulaziz and his team explored biodegradable composite materials and proposed creating protective braces for cars using composites. They tested different materials and designed fishing poles to learn about composites. Their project idea is to make strong, lightweight and corrosion-resistant car braces from a composite of steel rods, carbon fiber, insulator spray and silica to protect vehicles during outdoor activities in Qatar's desert environment and prevent accidents and injuries. The braces are intended to reduce costs from car body damage and corrosion if manufactured and tested further.
