1) The document outlines a student project from Al-Eiman School where they explored biodegradable materials and proposed a natural healing bandage made from gelatin, beeswax and aloe vera. 2) The proposed natural healing bandages would be made from biodegradable materials with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties for healing small cuts and wounds. 3) Through their project, the students learned about biodegradation and biodegradable materials, performed experiments comparing materials, and developed presentation and collaboration skills.

Biodegradation is the process by which organic
substances are decomposed by micro-organisms (mainly
bacteria) into simpler substances such as carbon dioxide
and water.
Biodegradable products are more common now because
of the its positive impact on the environment since almost
no waste is produced.

NATURAL HEALING BANDAGES
Introduction
The bandages has become used a lot and there is a lot of
companies prudues the bandages. There is a lot of bandages
prudues every year it can reach for 1000 of it,but it’s doesn’t
biodegrade undegradeablle.
Aim of the work
The product is natural healing bandages that is made from
natural materials with anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory
properties to heal small cuts and wounds naturally. The
bandages are also made from 100% natural materials that will
degrade when disposed.

We hope to collaborate with pharmaceutical companies
and health departments to test and improve the product.
The product can be made into different sizes and
shapes.

10. CONCLUSIONS
In Al-Bairaq we learned a lot about biodegradable
materials and we were able to come up with new useful
application to help the people and the environment
We learned new skills like how to perform experiments in
the lab safely, presentation skills and made new friends.
