This document has been designed to provide an at-a-glance and
detailed views of the courses, capabilities and disciplines that Assent
supports and trains. In producing this, Assent recognises that every
client is unique. In taking a client’s managers and brief for training,
Assent respects the different industries, categories and channels
each client works in, and the different stages in their careers that each
Manager has reached.
All courses are taught at entry, intermediate and advanced levels
(101, 201 and 301 for short), and within these levels, the modules
that are taught are further customised depending on the industry,
category and experience of the Manager. This level of customisation
for a complex topic such as Strategic Marketing is possible because
Assent has worked with over 80 Fortune 500 companies in the past 10
years and trained over a thousand managers. This has provided the
basis for modularising and customising the content, and the learning
methods, to a high level.

COMPETENCIES AND CAPABILITIES
When choosing a course for junior Marketers with
the above competencies and responsibilities, 101 (a
short form way of saying junior/entry level courses),
is the ideal workshop to send high-potential
Marketers on, in the first two years in their career.
Assent’s 201 course is ideal for Brand Managers with
the above competencies and responsibilities who have
the stretch to become a Senior Brand Manager within
2–3 years. The modules taught are similar to the more
advanced course and provide a great foundation for
further career moves beyond the Senior role.
Assent’s301course,issuitableforMarketingManagers
who are on their way to becoming a Director and
have the competencies and responsibilities shown
above. 301 has extra elements over and above the
Intermediate course and these complement any
skill gaps that may not have been acquired in the
Manager’s journey to this point.
Entry Level Intermediate Advanced
All courses are taught at Entry, Intermediate and Advanced levels (101, 201 and 301). Within these levels, the modules taught are further customised depending
on the industry, category and experience of the Manager. Both the instructional design and the content is tailored to the 101, 201 and 301 levels.

Entry Level Intermediate Intermediate State / National
For Managers with the above competencies and
responsibilities Assent’s entry level course, or 101
– can be done any time in the first two years of the
Manager’s career. It provides the foundation content
and skills for the Intermediate and Advanced.
The 201 course is ideal for Account Executives with
the above competencies and responsibilities who
are about to be promoted or who have just been
promoted to a National or State role. This course is
designer for Managers with stretch to develop into
National Managers and eventual Sales Directors.
Assent recommends the Intermediate 201 courses to
prepare a Manager with theabove competencies and
responsibilities for the National role or a Senior State
role.

Assent’s 201 course is ideal for Brand Managers with the above competencies and responsibilities who have the stretch to become a Senior Brand Manager within 2–3 years. The modules taught are similar to the more advanced course and provide a great foundation for further career moves beyond the Senior role. Assent’s301course,issuitableforMarketingManagers who are on their way to becoming a Director and have the competencies and responsibilities shown above. 301 has extra elements over and above the Intermediate course and these complement any skill gaps that may not have been acquired in the Manager’s journey to this point. It provides the foundation content and skills for the Intermediate and Advanced. The 201 course is ideal for Account Executives with the above competencies and responsibilities who are about to be promoted or who have just been promoted to a National or State role. This course is designer for Managers with stretch to develop into National Managers and eventual Sales Directors. Assent recommends the Intermediate 201 courses to prepare a Manager with theabove competencies and responsibilities for the National role or a Senior State role.
