• Path- After completing B.com with a minimum of 60% one
can directly give IPCC CA Intermediate exams which has
two groups which can be given in a single attempt or can
be given separately.
Internship duration – 1.5 years
Finally, One needs to clear CA final exams within 6 months
after internship to become a chartered accountant.
CA is an exam which has no fixed no. of attempts .
Pass marks – Aggregate 50% and minimum 30%(each
subject)

5. 2) Company Secretary
• Path – You can register with ICSI to pursue the CS after
BCom course.
The CS course comprises three levels - Foundation,
Executive, and Professional. Each level has a set of subjects
that you need to study and clear the exams for.
You can appear for the exams in either June or December
every year. The exams are conducted in online mode.
• Role - Chief advisor to the board of directors on best
practices in corporate governance.
