I liked the book I read, The 5th Wave. It was full of action, hardships, and love. The hardship was
shown when Cassie was in the woods fighting for her life. It was also evident in the parts where

(Boslaugh 2013). The restorative justice process requires the offender to take responsibility for
their behaviour and its consequences by viewing the crimeas an injury to an individual, instead of
an objective state, and concentrating on the victim, their needs and who is responsible to address
their needs and reverse the wrongs of the crime (Boslaugh 2013). The many benefits that have been

In Shapland, Robinson and Sorsby s (2011) evaluation, they have decided to look into the
offenders experiences and reactions to restorative justice in as much detail as victims. To get the
offenders reactions, the same questions used on victims exploring the extent of satisfaction was
used on the offenders. With these findings, the offenders views on the different measures of
satisfaction shows inter correlation with those views of the victims (Shapland, Robinson and
Sorsby 2011). Overall, the offenders stated that they were very likely to recommend restorative
justice to people in situations similar to their own. When asked what was important to them in the
evaluation, they replied that they found that it helped clear the air and allowed them to work
things out with the victim (Shapland, Robinson and Sorsby 2011). Being able to explain
themselves, to answer questions to clear things up, to apologise to the victim and to find closure
were all said to be beneficial for the offenders. Even the offenders that had been in prison
mentioned closure, showing that punishment isn t enough on its own to allow the offenders to pay
their debt. This leaves unfinished business in the sense that they never apologised, which prevents
the lead to making a change in one s life while also affecting the victim just as equally. With
