2. Conjuctivitis -Pink Eye
An inflammation of the conjunctiva
caused by a bacterial , viral infection and an allergies
Conjunctivitis can be extremely contagious and is spread by
contact with eye secretions from someone who is infected.
By skin-to-skin contact (handshakes or hugs).
Symptoms
Redness, (Mostly Bilateral )
Itching and tearing of the eyes.
Discharge or crusting around the eyes.
Puffy eyes
3. Conjunctivitis
It often resolves on its own, but treatment can speed the
recovery process.
Bacterial conjunctivitis can be treated with antibiotic eye
drops and Ointment(Gatifloxacilin
,Moxifloxacilin,Besifloxacilin)
Allergic conjunctivitis can be treated with antihistamines
and Some times short Course of steroids (Dexamethasone
,Prednisolone Eye drops )
It's important to stop wearing contact lenses while affected
by conjunctivitis
