This document examines the composition of LF (Ladle Furnace) slag and its impact on desulphurization and cleanliness of liquid steel. It emphasizes the importance of slag properties, particularly CaO content, in achieving effective desulphurization and presents graphical correlations and regression analyses based on industrial data. Key conclusions indicate that the sulphide capacity of slag is influenced by its chemical composition and temperature, with recommendations for optimizing slag materials to improve steel quality.
