Cloud computing delivers computing resources such as software, data storage, and computing power as a service over the internet. It allows users to access applications from anywhere instead of installing them on their own computers. Examples include using iTunes to browse, acquire, and sync content to mobile devices; using Evernote for note taking and web clipping that can be transferred and synced across devices; and using Dropbox to store files online and access them from anywhere.
