A cleanroom is characterized by strict controls on airborne particles, temperature, humidity, and pressure. Four key components define a cleanroom: cleanroom design using materials that limit particle generation; the HVAC system, which controls airflow, filtration, and climate; interaction technology regulating material and personnel flow as well as maintenance; and monitoring systems that ensure proper functioning through recorded measurements of pressure, temperature, humidity and other factors.
