Wood comes from trees and is used to make houses, furniture, doors, and paper. Rocks change over time due to environmental conditions, forming stones used to make roads, buildings, and more. Sand is found near the seashore and in deserts, formed from broken rocks. Clay is a fine-grained soil that is plastic when moist. Metals like iron, gold and copper are mined from the earth. Water is also important, found in oceans, lakes, and rivers, and is essential for all living things.

As I’ve said before, all wood comes from trees. Wood is used in
making houses, making doors and windows etc.

like chairs, tables, desks, sofas and beds

Another very important
use of wood is in making
paper. All sorts of paper

7. Rocks of the earth go on changing.
These changes take place due to the environmental conditions such
as wind, rain, When the rocks break they give rise to big and
small stones.
The stones are used in many things such as in making roads,
pavements, railway tracks, bridges and buildings.

SAND is found near seashore and in deserts; It is also found
in soil. Sand is formed from broken bits of rocks.

out of earth. They are a part of rocks.

Water is yet another very important natural resource.
It is present in large and small water bodies on Earth.
Most of Earth’s water is found in oceans.
In fact 3/4th of our Earth is water, while only 1/4th is land.
Water is most essential for all life.
Plants and animals cannot live without water.
