Open and close store using vision works retail procedure
• Initiate POS system and count allotted amount of funds in cash till • Filled out daily/nightly deposit slip and
make accurate notes to till and safe amounts
• Drop deposit with the banks daily
• Supervise and delegate store tasks to appropriate sales associate
• Greet and check in patients for the appointments
• Retrieve/and or make new charts for new patients, to be filled by optometrist
• Process and retrieve authorization of insurance for each patient
• Support OD.Techs in pre-testing patients
• Assist patients after the eye exam in selecting the best eyewear using appropriate frame styling
• Input data and Rx into the POS system to process the order for eye glasses/and or contact lenses
• Send the processed work order with selected eyewear to the lab to complete the job
• Perform IR class to patients receiving contact lenses for the first time
• Contact other eye-care facilities to best suit patients with specific eye care needs
• Inventory counts at start and end of every shift
• Email/and or Fax DM with daily and weekly store numbers
• Exude outstanding customer service and problem solving skills
