Outputs: Work with System Architecture Design Team to understand SIP/NSA/ISA enhanced
overload control behavior and identify potential issues and recommend possible
solutions. Build Overload Control Model by OPENT which identifies several potential
issues that would cause low CCR, unbalanced CPU utilization and jeopardize system
performance. SE suggests Design Team to consider changing the overload algorithm
to avoid such problem. Two recommend solutions are provided with simulation results.
• Perform analysis to determine the impact of new/existing features on system capacity,
memory, provisioning and performance.
