Iowa. Among her many tasks is to maintain Excel workbooks with information on
companies and their stock market activity. One of her wordbooks contains information on
Harriman Scientific, a company traded on the stock exchange. She wants you to complete
the workbook by adding charts that describe the company's financial status and stock
charts to display recent values of the company's stock. The stock chart should display the
stock's daily opening, high, low, and closing values, and the number of shares traded for
each day of the past few weeks. The volume of shares traded should be expressed in
terms of millions of shares. Complete the following:
1. Open the Frame workbook located in the Excel? Case3 folder included with your Data
Files, and then save the workbook as Frame Financial in the location specified by your
instructor.
2. In the Documentation sheet, enter your name in cell B3 and the date in cell B4.
3. Insert the Confidential.png graphic file located in the Excel? Case3 folder as a
washed-out watermark in the center section of the header of the Documentation
worksheet.
4. In the Overview worksheet, create a .D pie chart describing the company's shareholders
based on the data source values in the range K416.

2. 5. Remove the chart title and chart legend, and then resize the chart so that it is contained
within the range M3:07.
6. Change the fill colors of the ranges 04:14, KS:LS, and 1(6:1_6. match their
corresponding pie slice colors. Change the font color in those ranges to white.
7. Add pink gradient-colored data bars to the values in the range L10:014. Edit the data
bar rules so that the maximum data bar length corresponds to a value of 15,000, and the
bar direction goes from right to left.
8. In the Income Statement worksheet, create a 3D clustered column chart of the
company's net revenue and operating expenses using the data values in the nonadjacent
range B4:F4:136:F6;B12:F12. Move the chart to the Overview worksheet.
