Gullivers Sports Travel – Tour and Events Coordinator
Helped manage the customer relations and logistics for a “Golden Oldies” Cricket festival in Harrogate,
Yorkshire which was attended by 1000 visitors. This required excellent account management skills.
Supported projectmanagement of a tour to the 2010-11 Ashes series in Australia.For the Ashes I was the main
point of contact and responsible for ensuring all 43 people on my designated tour were up to date and had all
the relevant documentation before travel.
Travelled to Australia as Tour Manager for the event, where I was responsible for my tour of 43 people. Within
this we travelled to the Melbourne Test and the Sydney Test and then to Port Douglas. Within this tour we held
a large event in the MCG on Christmas Day and a large New Year’s Eve event on-board a Captain Cook ship on
Sydney Harbour. These events were a great success and highly commended.
Worked predominantly on the Six Nations Rugby Series and also helped with the Cricket World Cup and Rugby
World Cup 2011 to New Zealand.

Undertook a handful of temporary roles with different employers during this period. My work included
reception positions as well as working at Natwest bank as a cashier.
Held the role of Wimbledon Operations and Events Assistant at Wimbledon 2010 event (with Keith Prowse)
and worked alongsidethe Event Manager. Responsibilities included updatingsalesspreadsheets, proofreading
documents for print,and makingdecisions on certain aspects of the hospitality including flower arrangements
and furniture to be used. I was also required to sourcesuppliers and work closely with the sales and marketing
team, as well as maintaining constant communication with all our clients to bring together what was another
very successful event.

Supported tours to the Rugby World Cup in France. Responsibilities included a variety of tasks includingselling
packages as well as administratingand compilingthefinal packagedocuments, whilsthandlingany problems or
changes in the office.
Travelled to Paris for the final, which gave me great experience in dealing with clients at a major event, as well
as coping and managing with any scenarios that were presented to me.
Gained experience in the Inbound Department, which involved working on organising a Cricket Festival and a
Golden Oldies Rugby festival in the UK. Also worked for a time in the Lions Department where my roleinvolved
selling, booking and tailoring tours and packages.
Nominated (as a resultof my dedication and hard work) to go to South Africa to run and oversee a tour as well
as be a Tour leader which involved overseeing six other members of staff.
