Your experience at Qunci Villas:
During this internship, I had a training in nearly every department: Mostly in Guest Relation,
Revenue Management, Finance, Marketing and Human Resources;
My important tasks were:
- Supervising the Guest Relations with foreigner. I was also in charge of the French speaking
guests. For this task, I was staying at the main reception during the busy time or going
around the hotel during the quiet periods. While I was doing that I learnt how to do the
check-in / check-out and many other formal processes essential in Front Office position.
- Working with the consultants’ company (TSI) to develop the Revenue Management and
Financial analysis of the hotel. We created together many templates in order to establish
and improve the hotel forecasts through the time. We created as well some packages
adapted to the demand and we implemented some new ways to stock data.
- Developing the Marketing of the hotel by promoting some events and by creating social
network interaction with the guests.
- Working with Human Resources’department was also part of my job. I was in charge of
finding the new intern as well as doing the communication with the new foreigner staff. I
also did create a template for the training of the new intern.
Working in the hospitality industry is for me the most exciting thing in my life. It
allows me to visualize many different positions and to never live twice the same
day. Moreover, I can meet people from all around the world and understand
better the other cultures and lifestyles. Qunci Villas allowed me to improve my
knowledge in hospitality and my human skills.
What makes it
great to work in
