RECENT EMPLOYMENT
PERRIGO UK (FORMALLY GALPHARM INTERNATIONAL LIMITED)
Personal Assistant / Office Manager September 2014 to December 2016
Duties included:
• Diary management, business letter and email writing.
• Hotel and travel arrangements including worldwide travel and arranging visas.
• Arranging meetings including collating agendas, arranging refreshments and minute taking.
• Head of Reception with the receptionist reporting into myself, this included conducting appraisals and
agreeing holidays.
• Fully responsible for the running and maintenance of the time and attendance (using AS400 System) of
80 plus employees including working very closely with Human Resources with regards to recording and
managing staff absences. Also worked directly with HR during the recruitment process.
• Part of the Perrigo Foundation Committee for the Barnsley area having gained very good relationships
with local charities including Barnsley Hospice, BIARDS, Barnsley Hospital, Sheffield’s Children’s
Hospital and local schools.
• Supporting the Site Maintenance Manager, duties included reporting faults and following up on repairs,
organising and taking company vehicles for maintenance, purchasing any equipment for the office and
meeting and greeting any onsite trades people.
• First point of contact for any queries from any staff member in any department.
• Travelling as and when required to sites in Leeds and Braunton often involving overnight stays.
Personal Assistant to Senior Sales Director/Sales Team February 2002 to September 2014
Duties included:
• Diary management, business letter and email writing for Senior Sales Director and a Sales Team of 12.
• Audio typing.
• Arranging sales meetings and conferences including agendas, minute taking and distribution.
• Arranging of customer samples.
• Producing customer presentations.
• Arranging worldwide travel including hotels, flights and visas.
Administration Assistant / Receptionist January 2002 to February 2007
Duties included:
• Admin duties for the full office including copying, distributing, filing and ordering of stationary supplies.
• Reception duties and as and when required.
EARLIER EMPLOYMENT
Prior to my continuous 17½ years with Perrigo / Galpharm International, early experience was gained in
cleaning at the Job Centre in Barnsley and also initially at Galpharm International. I also spent a year
training to be a hairdresser before starting a family.
QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING
8 GCSE’s – including Maths and English
RSA I, II, and III in Text and Word Processing
Attended a wide range of internal and external courses including
• Various computer skills courses
• Presentation skills

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Interests: My passion is travelling with my family and relaxing as much as possible. I also love walking
my dog and meeting new people on the way! I also try and work with local charities as much
as I can especially Barnsley Hospice and Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
