DRUG INSPECTOR
A drug inspector is a professional who is an expert and qualified to
monitor the safety, utility and quality of a drug from its manufacturing
till its sale at the retail shop.
Qualification Required
• Aspirants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
or its related subjects from any PCI recognized
University.
• One should have a minimum of 18 months experience in
the manufacturing field.
• The age limit of the applicants must be between 21 years
and 35 years. Relaxation of 5 years is allowed for
reserved category candidates.
• Applicants should be Indian citizens.
MANUFACTURING CHEMIST
• A Manufacturing chemist is
a person who look after
complete manufacturing
process in a pharmaceutical
manufacturing unit.
• Manufacturing chemist is top
most technical staff who is
directly responsible for all
activities and processes
during a batch
manufacturing.
RESEARCH AND
DEVELOPMENT
Research chemists examine chemical compounds
and how they interact. These professionals can
work for different types of companies, like those
in the cosmetics, electronics, and pharmaceutical
fields. Aspiring research chemists should obtain
some work experience, in addition to a bachelor's
degree at minimum.
HIGHER EDUCATION
• The Masters in Pharmacy (M. Pharm) is the post-graduation course
introduced for the field of Pharmacy. The course includes various
concepts regarding the course like research methodologies, instrumental
techniques, practical elements of various pharma-based operations etc.
Course Duration:
• The duration of this post-graduation course is two consecutive years and
will have four semesters during the two years.
Eligibility Criteria:
• One should have passed a Bachelor degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm) with
the aggregate of 50%.
• One should obtain the bachelor degree from a recognized University or
any educational institution which is equivalent to the University.
• One should attend the entrance exam, Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test
(GPAT) and qualify the test and interview as it is conducted all over
India.
NO RETIREMENT AGE
• Working as a pharmacist ensures self employment
for lifetime with no retirement age.
• If the pharmacist is employed in government
sector a permanent amount of pension is set.
2+2 =5 OR 50
Being in such a noble profession you earn your
livelihood and at the same time you earn respect, self
esteem and blessings depending upon your attitude.
Thereby, making it either 2+2=5 or 50
