FSSAI ?
Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) is an
autonomous body established under the Ministry of Health &
Family Welfare, Government of India.
The function of FSSAI is to protect and promote public health
by regulating and supervising food safety.
The body has its headquarters in New Delhi. Besides there are 6
regional offices, 14 referral laboratories, 72 State/UT
laboratories, and 112 laboratories, which are NABL accredited.

Looking at the increasing demand for food testing personnel and to
encourage employment for the fresh postgraduates in the field of
Food Industry/ Food testing laboratories, the Board conducts the
