Zoom-Function that moves the point of view closer of further away
from the subject. The more zoomed in, the harder it is to keep the
picture steady.
Focus-Proffesional cameras usually have a have a manual focus ring at
the front of the lens housing. Turn the ring clockwise for closer focus,
anti-clockwise for distant focus.
Iris-This is an adjustable opening which controls the amount of light
coming through the lens. As you open the iris more light comes in and
the picture appears brighter.
White Balance-White balance means colour balance. It is the function
that tells the camera what each colour should be.
Shutter-The shutter can be used to help control exposure. The main
advantage is that individual frames appear sharper.
