This document defines and provides examples of various types of camera shots and angles used in filmmaking. It discusses establishing shots, which show the setting and important details, as well as extreme wide shots, very wide shots, and wide shots that show increasing amounts of a subject. Mid shots show part of a subject in more detail. Cutaways and bridging shots are also defined, as are eye-level, high angle, bird's eye, and slanted shots. Finally, various camera movements like panning, tracking, zooming, and handheld, locked down, full, and extra long shots are outlined.
