A broad suite of proposals for financial instruments in the next EU budget could be used to foster climate-relevant finance. But currently there are no explicit provisions that specify the scope and scale of action in spite of the commitment to spend at least 20% of the EU budget on climate related activities. This presentation provides an overview of the stage of ply and discusses options for further policy action.

Combined Illegal, Unregulated and Unreported (IUU) Vessel List.Christina Parmionova
The best available, up-to-date information on all fishing and related vessels that appear on the illegal, unregulated, and unreported (IUU) fishing vessel lists published by Regional Fisheries Management Organisations (RFMOs) and related organisations. The aim of the site is to improve the effectiveness of the original IUU lists as a tool for a wide variety of stakeholders to better understand and combat illegal fishing and broader fisheries crime.
To date, the following regional organisations maintain or share lists of vessels that have been found to carry out or support IUU fishing within their own or adjacent convention areas and/or species of competence:
Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR)
Commission for the Conservation of Southern Bluefin Tuna (CCSBT)
General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean (GFCM)
Inter-American Tropical Tuna Commission (IATTC)
International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT)
Indian Ocean Tuna Commission (IOTC)
Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Organisation (NAFO)
North East Atlantic Fisheries Commission (NEAFC)
North Pacific Fisheries Commission (NPFC)
South East Atlantic Fisheries Organisation (SEAFO)
South Pacific Regional Fisheries Management Organisation (SPRFMO)
Southern Indian Ocean Fisheries Agreement (SIOFA)
Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission (WCPFC)
The Combined IUU Fishing Vessel List merges all these sources into one list that provides a single reference point to identify whether a vessel is currently IUU listed. Vessels that have been IUU listed in the past and subsequently delisted (for example because of a change in ownership, or because the vessel is no longer in service) are also retained on the site, so that the site contains a full historic record of IUU listed fishing vessels.
Unlike the IUU lists published on individual RFMO websites, which may update vessel details infrequently or not at all, the Combined IUU Fishing Vessel List is kept up to date with the best available information regarding changes to vessel identity, flag state, ownership, location, and operations.

We thought for long time on
how to inform our custom-

designing this report.
We commit to offer this
work with updates on every
week. Through a constant
monitor of all the available

collecting and commenting
all the relevant informa-
tion: eligibility conditions,
deadlines, objectives and
activities required in all the
ongoing European calls for
proposals.
Our service will not be limit-
ed to the weekly report. We
intend to publish in the next
future a monthly magazine
where issues most relevant
on European Programmes
and Call for proposals, are
commented and examined
thoroughly.
We also intend to support
each reader in any specific
research of projects, public
calls, partnership opportu-
nities for current and future
initiatives.
HOW TO READ
IT
The Call4Europe Weekly
Report is divided in specif-
ic sections.
A first part contains the
general list of all the
calls for proposals open
for the next six months,
that we all reviewed during
the current week. Calls
are sorted by deadline and
linked to the single call
synopses in the second
part of the report.
The second part is divided
in thematic subsections:
• Research and Innova-
tion;
• Energy, Environment
and Climate Change;
• Enterprises and Eco-
nomic Development;
• Regional Development
and Interregional Co-
operation;
• Education, VET and
Culture;
• Employment and So-
cial Inclusion.
Every Call Synopsis
contains useful information
for any applicant. Data are
collected so to help reader
to understand swiftly the
main features of the single
call and to decide whether
to start up a possible ap-
plication for funding. At the
bottom of each synopsis,
the reader will find three
tools for:
- downloading the synopsis
in a single .pdf document;
- emailing us for any future
updating on the call;
