This document presents a robust watermarking technique that uses discrete wavelet transform and singular value decomposition. The technique embeds a watermark image into the singular values of the host image's blue channel after decomposing it using discrete wavelet transform. The proposed method was shown to be robust against various signal processing attacks and geometric attacks while maintaining good visual quality. Experimental results on a sample image demonstrated the technique's effectiveness against attacks like blurring, noise addition, rotation and gamma correction. The technique was concluded to provide copyright protection of digital images using properties of both discrete wavelet transform and singular value decomposition.
