The communication process consists of 5 key components: the sender, message, channel, receiver, and feedback. The sender encodes the message using their experience and knowledge and the message is delivered through various channels like face-to-face interaction, phone calls, emails etc. The receiver decodes the message based on their own experiences and understanding. Feedback from the receiver informs the sender if the message was understood as intended, completing the communication process.
