1. Support and promote Breastfeeding
initiation during the first hour after birth
2. Support and promote Exclusive
Breastfeeding for the first six months of life
of the infant; and
3. Thereafter Support and promote
continued breastfeeding with the
introduction of complementary foods for two
years and beyond
4. Always provide our mothers and pregnant
women with correct information in relation to
breastfeeding
5. Always suggest mothers that are
encountering infant feeding problems and
are planning to stop breastfeeding to get
assistance from the nearest health center.

1. Do not request/accepts gifts of any sort from Milk
Companies and their representatives
2. Do not request/accept samples of products or
products covered by the Milk Code to Milk
Companies and their representatives
3. Do not allow the Milk Companies and their
representatives to support/conduct activities in your
communities/barangay and cities
4. Do not promote products covered by the Milk Code
5. Do not allow milk companies and their
representatives to promote their products within your
health center/clinic/hospital, community/barangays
6. Do not post/accept posters or other promotional
materials from Milk Companies and use it in your
health center/clinic/hospital/health facility
7. Do not get sponsorships from Milk Company and
their representatives without requesting the
permission from FDA.
