Too many people think that brand management matters most to a consumer brand, and they underestimate the value of marketing for B2B brands. And many of these people are running B2B brands. They treat marketing as a support function, hiring low-cost marketing coordinators to support their sales team, and do basic packaging for new launches and run a few basic trade magazines.
An introduction to advertising planning / strategyverityw
When I started planning I had little idea what my job was. Like, I knew the theory that I'm curious, a problem solver etc. etc. but what do I actually DO every day. Plus, most planning happens in people's heads, so unlike account management, it's hard to watch and learn. I've put this together in the hope that it explains what a planner does. At least, after showing this to my husband he said he finally understands what my job is...
I've included photos I found online. I don't claim to own these, I've borrowed them. If one's yours and you don't want me to use it, please let me know and I won't.

A go-to-market strategy (GTM strategy) is an action plan that specifies how a company will reach customers and achieve competitive advantage. The purpose of a GTM strategy is to provide a blueprint for delivering a product or service to the end customer, taking into account such factors as pricing and distribution. A GTM strategy is somewhat similar to a business plan, although the latter is broader in scope and considers such factors as funding.
Brand personality is a set of human characteristics associated with a brand.
From the consumer’s point of view brand personality offer them a touch point that gives them the opportunity to connect with the brand on an emotional level. From a company’s point of view brand personality offers a host of benefits: it differentiates the brand, makes it more memorable, creates message consistency across all channels and it offers a vehicle for creating engaging brand messages.
In this presentation we explore some of the reasons why brand personality is so important in today's competitive environment, what brand personality is and some of the many ways to capture that personality visually.
Jonathan Lee, Managing Director, Brand Strategy, and Ken Allard, Managing Director, Business Strategy at HUGE, gave this presentation at "Ambidexterity 2," the VCU Brandcenter's Executive Education program for account planning on June 24th at the VCU Brandcenter in Richmond, VA.
While different people will have different approaches to developing and managing brands, we believe there are some fundamental constructs and truths about brand strategy that need to be considered in any brand strategy process. We\'ve developed a short presentation on some of the fundamentals of brand strategy.

Iconische merken bouwen in een nieuw tijdperkWhat if Robert
