Do a warm-up exercises using the downloaded video from YouTube
B. OH MY! BMI!!!
1. Using the weighing scale and meter stick, ask the student to
take their height and weight.
2. With the formula BMI= W (kg)/H2 (m2), compute your Body
Mass Index.
3. Find out your classification based on the table.
4. Get a tape measure and measure the circumference of your
waist in inches.
5. Record and find out your Risk Category.
6. Based on the interpretation, are you at risk?
NOTE: Explain that BMI and Waist circumference are the Initial step to seek
for doctor’s advice.
