Bluetooth is a wireless technology that allows devices like mobile phones, computers, and other hardware to connect and exchange data over short distances without wires. The technology was created in 1994 by the Swedish company Ericsson and was named after the Danish king Harald Bluetooth who united Denmark and Norway in the 10th century. Bluetooth works by transmitting radio signals between devices within a range of about 30 feet.
