• Introduction
Many trees and plants grow bent due to lack of support, which affect
the plant prosperity and shape. This problem also occur on smaller
scale and on smaller plants like in house gardens. The solution to the
problem is plants stakes to support the roots. However these stakes are
non-biodegradable and will eventually be thrown to waste.
• Aim of the work
This project is about making biodegradable plant stakes to reduce
waste disposed to the environment .

10. Conclusions
Our experience with Al-Bairaq was very unique and we
learnt a lot .
Biodegradable materials can be used in many
applications .
We decided to make a project that is helpful for Qatar and
the globe by preserving our environment from pollution .
