Social Change Anytime Everywhere: Best Practices to Build a Multichannel Camp...4Good.org
From your website to social media, email to mobile messages, online to offline, multichannel strategies require coordination and creative thinking across teams and departments, and a focus on the core of your work beyond any one specific call to action. In this session, we will show you how to craft an online multichannel campaign plan to meet your mission and campaign goals, and how other organizations are successfully integrating multichannel efforts into their work. For example, what happens when you tie your Facebook posts to your online fundraising appeals? What about sending text messages connected to your email actions the next day? Multichannel strategies bring your staff together and connect your community across platforms for more targeted actions. This session provides highlights from the new book Social Change Anytime Everywhere: How to Implement Online Multichannel Strategies to Spark Advocacy, Raise Money, and Engage your Community by Allyson Kapin and Amy Sample Ward and gives you the next steps you need to start working to create real social change online and on the ground.
These are the slides from Amy Sample Ward's presentation at New York Cares' 2012 Leadership Conference in New York City on March 3, 2012. Learn more at http://amysampleward.org

A Social Media Strategy for Your Nonprofit: EXPLAINED! How to create a solid ...Julia Campbell
Social media was once promised as the silver bullet for nonprofits. Start posting, start tweeting, start Instagramming - and like magic, the donations will just roll in! Then reality set in. In our current attention economy, organic (unpaid) reach is down, algorithms prioritize updates from friends and family over businesses and brands, and millions upon millions of pieces of content are uploaded every single day.
For nonprofits to effectively raise money and build a community on social media requires thoughtful, strategic, and consistent effort and a boatload of creativity. In this workshop, social media and digital fundraising expert, Julia Campbell will walk you through the secrets to successful donor relations with social media.
Participants will learn...
How to navigate the latest changes and trends in the social media landscape - what fundraisers need to know;
How to use social media to build and deepen relationships with current donors and prospects;
How to manage social media work at a small nonprofit with limited capacity;
Free and low-cost tools you can use to enhance your digital fundraising on a shoestring budget; and
Real-world examples from small and mid-size nonprofits.
How to Launch an Emergency Crowdfunding Campaign for Your NonprofitJulia Campbell

Social media is a great tool that civil society organizations can use to communicate with their audience, market their services, connect with their networks or improve the way they work and promote their social development agenda. The key features of social media are participation and interaction, connecting people and providing the tools necessary to have a conversation - all important components of NGOs’ day-to-day work. This workshop looks at how the strategic use of social media helps civil society organizations reach new people, adds value to mission-driven work, supports goals to build a movement around a core advocacy issue, improves customer service or programmes, reaches new donors, and raises awareness of a nonprofit brand around the world.

Improving Workplace Safety Performance in Malaysian SMEs: The Role of Safety ...AJHSSR Journal
ABSTRACT: In the Malaysian context, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) experience a significant
burden of workplace accidents. A consensus among scholars attributes a substantial portion of these incidents to
human factors, particularly unsafe behaviors. This study, conducted in Malaysia's northern region, specifically
targeted Safety and Health/Human Resource professionals within the manufacturing sector of SMEs. We
gathered a robust dataset comprising 107 responses through a meticulously designed self-administered
questionnaire. Employing advanced partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) techniques
with SmartPLS 3.2.9, we rigorously analyzed the data to scrutinize the intricate relationship between safety
behavior and safety performance. The research findings unequivocally underscore the palpable and
consequential impact of safety behavior variables, namely safety compliance and safety participation, on
improving safety performance indicators such as accidents, injuries, and property damages. These results
strongly validate research hypotheses. Consequently, this study highlights the pivotal significance of cultivating
safety behavior among employees, particularly in resource-constrained SME settings, as an essential step toward
enhancing workplace safety performance.

ABSTRACT: Although a significant amount of literature exists on Morocco's migration policies and their
successes and failures since their implementation in 2014, there is limited research on the integration of subSaharan African children into schools. This paperis part of a Ph.D. research project that aims to fill this gap. It
reports the main findings of a study conducted with migrant children enrolled in two public schools in Rabat,
Morocco, exploring how integration is defined by the children themselves and identifying the obstacles that they
have encountered thus far. The following paper uses an inductive approach and primarily focuses on the
relationships of children with their teachers and peers as a key aspect of integration for students with a migration
background. The study has led to several crucial findings. It emphasizes the significance of speaking Colloquial
Moroccan Arabic (Darija) and being part of a community for effective integration. Moreover, it reveals that the
use of Modern Standard Arabic as the language of instruction in schools is a source of frustration for students,
indicating the need for language policy reform. The study underlines the importanceof considering the
children‟s agency when being integrated into mainstream public schools.

15. Creating a Multichannel Campaign
Example: What goals will we achieve by raising $25,000 for the local soup
kitchen?”
Goal One: To illustrate that homelessness has risen 25% in our city over the last
year, resulting in a rising demand for our free meals and job training services. We
want donors to understand that every night there are lines of hundreds of hungry
people outside of our door waiting for a hot meal.
Goal Two: For every $50 donated, 25 homeless people will get a nutritious dinner
for one week at our soup kitchen, beginning next week.
Goal Three: For every $25 donated, our soup kitchen will provide computertraining classes to 10 people homeless people we are serving for one month.
Goal Four: To tell the personal story of a soup kitchen volunteer who has
benefitted from eating regularly at our soup kitchen and participating in our jobtraining program.

National Coalition of Breast Cancer aimed at deconstructing all of the pink
corporatization of breast cancer.
Example Two: The Golden Boob Awards: Exposing The Biggest Boobs Of All
- a campaign aimed at exposing bogus products that claimed they could better
detect changes in breasts or organizations that made false claims about getting/
curing breast cancer.

30. Roll-Out A Multichannel Campaign
Launch Your Email Series
Email 1: Tell the story of the overall campaign, lay out the
campaign goals and the impact donors can expect to see
from their action.
Email 2: Update people on the campaign’s progress. Remind
people of the story you shared in the previous appeal.
Reinforce the message that you still need their help to make
an impact and meet the campaign goals.
Email 3: The final message is another update and one last
ask for help to truly make that tangible impact and meet your
goals.

33. What programs, initiatives or campaigns does your
organization have coming up in the next 6 months that you
think would make a good multichannel campaign? Pick one
to focus on for this exercise.
>> Brainstorm three short term and
long term objectives for this initiative.
34. >> Identify your target audiences.
Who is your advocacy target?
Who has the power to create the change you are seeking?
Who are the target audiences you seek to organize?
35. >> List 3-4 different actions you want people to take.
These actions should start out as an easy action – such as
signing an online petition or pledge. As the campaign unfolds
and people take action, what additional actions can people
take to stay involved that requires more commitment.
36. >> Brainstorm ideas to promote
this campaign across multiple channels.
What kind of content will you need? Does it already exist
and can be edited and tailored for different channels? Or do
you need to create the content from scratch?
37. >> Identify the metrics you’ll use to evaluate the campaign.
What does success look like?
How you will track metrics across different
online channels? What metrics can you use in real time to know if
you’re on track?
