WAP Gateway Essay
WAP Gateway WAP does not offer end to end security. WAP contraptions talk with web servers
through a widely appealing WAP entrance. WTLS is quite recently used between the device and the

infers the WAP gateway contains, at scarcest for some time span, un mixed data. The entryway dealers

Randy May works for a small airline based on Nantucket Island, Massachusetts. He recently won two
million in the New England Lottery and decided to invest his winnings, ultimately, in a chain of ice
cream shops in the Cape Cod area to gain potential future earnings. Figuring he had enough money to
open up ice cream shops in both islands of Nantucket and Martha s Vineyard, as well as two shops in
Falmouth and Buzzards Bay, he signed a contract with a local builder and began construction of the
shops. After beginning the process of construction, he was faced with the next task of hiring

Don Quixote As A Hero
Don Quixote, a character who is going crazy reading books that discuss heroic Knights. These books
lead Don Quixote on a journey to win over his lover, Dulcinea. Throughout Don Quixote s journey,
his intelligence is tested along with his sanity, but the one major question is what changes his attitude
toward chivalry in this novel? Chivalry, according to dictionary.com, is the sum of the ideal
qualifications of a Knight, this includes: courtesy, generosity, valor, and dexterity in arms. Don
Quixote believes that by bringing these qualities back into society, the world will once again obtain its
beauty. On this journey, Don Quixote is accompanied by a peasant laborer, Sancho Panza, who Don
Quixote refers to as his squire. Sancho, takes the roll of Don Quixote s squire because of greed. Unlike
the other characters in this novel, Sancho admires Don Quixote s madness, even getting himself
wrapped along in it at times. The Author uses the three main characters to emphasize different
opinions on the world and love within the world. Starting with Don Quixote himself, he comes off
both intelligent and insane at times. Imagining life the way he wishes it truly was, many of these
examples are stated in the following paragraph. Making decisions based off what he wants not
noticing the impact on others until after. This attitude ends up getting him into trouble. In chapter five,
Don Quixote approaches merchants ordering them around in hope to obtain the proclamation of

A Biological Family In Kingsolver s The Bean Trees
Everyone has a biological family but, sometimes people give up their children or when children grow
up they sometimes decide to leave this biological family. But, this does not mean that these children
have given up a family forever. According to dictionary.com, a family is considered to be a group
consisting of parents and children living together in a household . This definition generates the idea
that family does not have to be biological. In The Bean Trees, Kingsolver uses the intimacy between
the character to suggest the idea that non biological families can be as strong or even stronger than
biological ones.
The connection to Taylor s heritage helps to create a sense of family and belonging when she is in

her of her heritage and family so she writes a letter to her mom. On the postcard, she writes: No
offense, but the Cherokee Nation is crap. Headed west. Love, M (16). This shows the connection
between her and the Cherokees. When she writes Cherokee Nation is crap it shows how she is leaving
her heritage and family behind. Also, she says headed west , this indicates her continuing her journey
which can foreshadow to a new family or heritage. While she is in Cherokee Nation Taylor is coming

Universal Algebras Associative Ring ( R )
KEY WORDS: Fuzzy set, anti S fuzzy subsemiring, pseudo anti S fuzzy coset. INTRODUCTION:
There are many concepts of universal algebras generalizing an associative ring ( R ; + ; . ). Some of
them in particular, nearrings and several kinds of semirings have been proven very useful. Semirings
(called also halfrings) are algebras ( R ; + ; . ) share the same properties as a ring except that ( R ; + )
is assumed to be a semigroup rather than a commutative group. Semirings appear in a natural manner
in some applications to the theory of automata and formal languages. An algebra (R ; +, .) is said to be
a semiring if (R ; +) and (R ; .) are semigroups satisfying a. ( b+c ) = a. b+a. c and (b+c) .a = b. a+c. a
for all a, b and c in R. After the introduction of fuzzy sets by L.A.Zadeh[11], several researchers
explored on the generalization of the concept of fuzzy sets. The notion of anti fuzzy left h ideals in
hemiring was introduced by Akram.M and K.H.Dar [1]. The notion of homomorphism and anti
homomorphism of fuzzy and anti fuzzy ideal of a ring was introduced by N.Palaniappan
K.Arjunan[6]. In this paper, we introduce the some Theorems in anti S fuzzy subsemiring of a

Teens And Hispanic Teenage Pregnancy
There are many factors when it comes to which teenagers are most likely to get pregnant. These
factors consist of race, the country they live in, and economic status. Starting with race, whites have a
significantly lower rate of teenage pregnancy than those who are Hispanic or African American. White
and African American teenage pregnancies have both gone down while Hispanic teenage pregnancy
has gone up in the last 15 years (Coley Chase Lansdale, 1998). Even though Hispanic teenagers tend
to be sexually active later in their adolescence, studies have proven that they are less likely to use birth
control; increasing the likelihood of becoming pregnant. Once pregnant they are less likely to abort
than Whites or African Americans leading to a higher rate of Hispanic teenage pregnancies (Coley
Chase Lansdale, 1998). While race plays a big role, what country you live in also contributes to your
chances of being pregnant as a teenager. In fact, at the beginning of this decade, the rate of teenage
births was almost twice as high in the United States as in the country with the next highest rate, Great
Britain; more than 4 times greater than those of Sweden and Spain; 7 times greater than those of
Denmark and the Netherlands; and 15 times greater than that of Japan (Coley Chase Lansdale, 1998,
p. 152). Some researchers argue that because the United States is so diverse the teenage pregnancy
rate is much higher but White teenagers in the U.S. still have higher pregnancy

A Successful Analysis Of Data Using Ancova
A successful analysis of data using ANCOVA is dependent on assumptions that relate to the study
design, namely, a continuous dependent variable, a categorical independent variable with two or more
independent groups, a continuous covariate variable, and the need for independence of observation
(Field, 2012). Other assumptions are presented during the course of the SPSS analysis to ensure data
does not violate assumptions, even though there is some leeway for violation of certain assumptions.
For the analysis, time spent stalking after therapy (stalker2) was the dependent variable, the
intervention group (cognitive behavior therapy contrasted with psychodynamic therapy) was the
independent variable, and time spent before therapy (stalker1) was the covariate to control for
incoming behavior. Two study designs are associated with ANCOVA pre post study designs and
condensing the outcome of inappropriate variable, but only after the preliminary assumptions have
been satisfied (Huitema, 2011). The Stalker.sav data was appropriate for measuring the same
dependable variable in two or more unrelated independent groups over two points; hence the pre post
study design. Linearity Assumption There was a linear relationship between the time spent stalking
before therapy (pre) and the time spent stalking after therapy (post) for each intervention type, as
evidenced by the scatterplot below. Testing for Normality From the Tests of Normality table below,

CHAPTER1. INTRODUCTION
Introduction
Time is one of the major factors in learning .In order for learners to achieve success in any field, they
need time to learn ,practice and apply what they have learned to fulfill goals (Farbman ,A N).
Educational institutes in the US nowadays are trying to improve the quality of the education offered to
students, therefor, there is a growing concern on how to use educational resources effectively such as
time in learning. Previous researches indicated that there is a direct relation between the amount of
time given to instruction and learning. This paper contributes to this growing literature on the effect of
the long time spending in the educational institutes on students performance and achievement. In order
to examine the impact of long instructional hours on student success and performance an action
research project has been conducted at the ELS center in Murfreesboro. Aim of the Research
The main of this research is to investigate the students perspectives concerning the long instructional
hours in the ELS Center.
The Research Objectives The objectives of the project is to identify the advantages and the
disadvantages of the long working hours in the ELS center as well as offering suggestions for
alternative scheduling to improve the quality of education offered by the center and might also
increase students productivity and performance in the future.

The Social Construction Of Heterosexuality
How you feel isn t what you are

17 October 2017
How you feel isn t what you are This is a argumentative essay against the notions of gender roles
portrayed by masculine and feminine traits, from section four of Composing Gender How Do We
Define Sexuality ? The idea that one individual can feel masculine or feel feminine does not make
them a male or female. Throughout Composing Gender, many readings refer to sexuality as an
inevitable part of gender construction, several authors use the terms heteronormative and compulsory
heterosexuality to describe a social structure in which the expression of sexuality is seen as normal
only. (Groner, 2014, par.3 p. 184) Your gender is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
209) The use of the word faggot is the worst epithet anyone could call you as a male or female. This is
the assumption that you are not meeting the un stated facts of masculinity, causing you to seem
weaker, revealing more feminine traits. Bringing on the assumption that you are in fact gay or lesbian
or even bi. It is also said within this passage that most boys call others faggots as a joke but won t call
anyone a fag if there is a homosexual around (Pascoe, 2011, p. 212 213). Though overall no one is
claimed a faggot at all, the only thing that these children used to determine who was or wasn t a fag
was their clothes how they took care of themselves and other things. Pascoe seems that the term
faggot is more of a way for kids to put up a wall against homophobia, and create some type of borders
against male sexuality. Going back to my thesis, these adolescent boys already know the difference
between a gay and straight boy. They can tell when one is being very prominent about his sexuality as
stated above, so they won t call them a fag. These boys are natural, and practice heteronormativity to
prove they are not unnatural or heterosexual. In order to fit in with the rest of their school and to
prevent being called a faggot. In Sandra Bem s essay On Judith Butler she analyzes Judith Butler s

2005 were significant decisions in promoting setting up of large scale firms. Government schemes
such as Apparel Parks for Exports (APE) and the Textile Centres Infrastructure Development Scheme

The new Textile Policy of 2000 set the ball rolling for policy reforms in the textile sector, dealing with

The Relationship Between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth Essay
The Relationship Between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth
Macbeth and Lady Macbeth face an extraordinary situation involving a strong supernatural theme and
murder and treason of the highest kind. However Shakespeare still cleverly manages to make Lady
Macbeth and Macbeth relate to audiences of all eras and to convey a strong moral message within his
play.
The relationship between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth is fascinating to study. Shakespeare constantly
changes their attitude to each other throughout the play, making it hard to form a clear cut opinion of
their relationship. My personal opinion is that, although events in the play certainly draw Macbeth and
Lady Macbeth apart, their love for one ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
By letting his wife announce that they must kill Duncan, Macbeth is able to offload some of the guilt
of the deed onto her he uses Lady Macbeth as a scapegoat for his already guilty conscience. Upon
sending the letter Macbeth immediately goes to see his wife. In my opinion he does this so that Lady
Macbeth is ready to begin to override Macbeth s good characteristics immediately. When Macbeth
loses Lady Macbeth s support later on in the play he is forced to act independently of her, and so loses
the ability to murder. I feel that his actions throughout the play are an indication of Macbeth s
dependency on his wife, as well as his misuse of their love in order to claim the title of King. He refers
to Lady Macbeth as: [his] dearest partner of greatness showing that Macbeth envisages them sharing
the power of the throne.
In his soliloquy Macbeth admits that he has no spur To prick the sides of [his] intent which indicates
that Macbeth knows that he will require Lady Macbeth to be his spur , and coax him into murdering
Duncan. He also knows that by allowing Lady Macbeth to take up such a domineering role she will
take the murder out of his hands, thus freeing him from a great deal of guilt.
Upon receiving the letter, Lady Macbeth immediately responds to Macbeth s wishes, realising that

Hobby Lobby Practice what you Preach An organization, in its simplest form, is comprised of people
brought together to achieve a common goal whether it be solving a problem, selling a product or
providing a service. The existence of the organization is wholly dependent on the collective body of
individuals involved and it is these individuals that are the driving force behind the success or failure
of a company. The relationships that connect the people within the organization dictate how the
culture is developed and perceived. Organizational culture is the summation of the underlying
organizational values manifesting as collective assumptions, attitudes, beliefs, expectations and

Integrating Christian principles into the work environment can be a challenge in today s secular
climate however one avenue that Hobby Lobby uses to effectively demonstrate their values is through
their store hours. Signs posted at their stores state that they are closed Sundays to allow employees
time with their families and time to worship. This however is the only discernible illustration of their
core values. When asked about how they characterize biblical principles the employee responses were
varied and sometimes ambiguous. Of the few employees who were able to define what biblical
principles signified to them, a common theme appeared. More than one employee referred to the
biblical passage Mathew 7:12 the Golden Rule, roughly translated into do unto others as you would
have others do unto you. Other illustrations were doing the right thing and having faith in the people
around you .
Basic Assumptions The third and deepest level of organizational culture posited by Edgar Schein is
basic assumptions. Basic or underlying assumptions are the unconscious and intangible mechanisms
that become ingrained and provide a sense of security. Often taken for granted, these assumptions are
communicated through behavior and non verbal cues reflecting the enacted values within the
organization which may or may not correspond with espoused values expressed by leadership (Nelson
amp; Quick, 2011).

Empathy In Homeless In Black Men And Public Space
In Homeless , Quindlen shows empathy toward homeless people. For example, throughout the story,
Quindlen brings forth points pertaining to how having a home is everything (193). Homeless people
don t experience little things that come with having a home such as having walls and painting them a
color of their own choosing (193). On the other hand, in Black Men Public Space , Staples makes the
reader empathize with him and blacks in general and makes the reader see his perspective. Staples
emphasizes his concern for being considered a threat in public spaces through the use of explicit
language. Staples starts off by saying, My first victim was a woman (197). Using the word victim , he
expresses explicit language and stresses his point of view. Additionally, using the word victim
provides the reader with a different perspective on how the person who is being perceived as being a
threat feels.
The outdoors, which is a public space, is not comforting. As Quindlen says, Home is where the heart
is ; it is a place of certainty, stability, predictability, [and] privacy (193). Home is a private space
surrounded by walls, making people who reside there feel secure. In contrast to Staples, Quindlen uses
implicit language because it is implied that on the other hand, living in a public space can be
threatening because certain public spaces are considered unsafe. Black people in the streets can be
perceived as being one of the many threats, like Staples was. Ironically,

Analyse The Importance Of Early Intervention In Children
I have learnt that language can be cognitive, material or social (Gee Hayes, 2011). Some view
language as a set of social conventions, shared by a group of people about how to communicate such
as classroom or sporting rules, often supplied in books and followed by people. Children don t read
books so social conventions need to be taught by modelling behaviour and communication.
With the exception of severe disabilities or social problems, all humans acquire language as a core of
basic property of their humanity called vernacular which is used in everyday life Gee Hayes (2011, p.
8). I believe that this is why early intervention is so important; not to label a child; but to better
support them for further education. Most humans can learn

The Media s Influence On The Perception Of Media And...
Very few viewers of adverts decode images passively. Marita Sturken and Lisa Cartwright argue that
there are very few viewers who decode images passively because there is no mass culture. This is
because each viewer has different contexts and social backgrounds meaning that the images they view
can be decoded in various ways because of their frame of reference and background. However the
subject of how audiences decode and view media including advertising can be seen in various
different perspectives particularly with Karl Marx and Louis Althusser who have similar but different
theories around audiences as passive and active parts of the decoding process. Through Stuart Hall
also we can understand the different ways audiences can receive a advert.
Sturken and Cartwright s theory of audiences focuses on the idea that everyone has their own
background and frame of reference that determines how they decode an image (57). In advertising this
theory is vital in understanding how audiences perceive images and understanding the effects and
success of advertising on different people around the world. A part of this surrounds the identity of the
viewer and the relevant context of the advert. For example, the Steinlager Pure advert which depicts
the nuclear free image of New Zealand (Steinlager Pure). How this advert is received will depend on
who views it. New Zealanders will have a direct connection to the advert due to its setting and context
around the identity of New Zealand

The Australian Media Is An Available And Reliable...
The Australian media is generally considered to be an available and reliable information source for
Australian society. The media therefore has a strong influence over the information of social and
individual opinions. Refugees are people who have been forced to leave their home because of war,
natural disasters or persecution. The media represents this category of people using a narrow group of
information, presenting a particular skew of opinion, which is passed onto the individuals who place
trust in these sources. Through the media interpreting the typical Australian, generally not showing the
reality of immigrants it allows society to disregard refugees or asylum seekers as they do not fit this
ideal Australian. This ideology of the Australian has caused a history of social categorization and
discrimination, often based in a racial or religious difference between the British Australian settlers,
and a variety of groups, including: the Indigenous community, Chinese gold rush settlers, and
Mediterranean immigrants. Recently, these social categorizations have been strongly targeted toward
those seeking asylum on Australia s shores. The rapid evolution of technology and the media has
caused dramatic changes in the way that society, and the individuals within it have understood and
approached these issues.
The media in its news form is considered to be a highly trusted source of information. This gives them
a huge influence over Australia s views over certain topics.

If you ain t never been to the ghetto, don t ever come to the ghetto (Cube, Ghetto Vet). But why are
American ghettos filled with so much violence, drugs, and inopportunity? In John Singleton s
powerful drama Boyz N the Hood the harsh reality of youths growing up in South Central Los

The isolation of these areas seems to be the main element that is fueling the influx of violence, drugs,
and unemployment. The area of Los Angeles in which Boyz N the Hood was filmed, deemed South
Central, is a mere 12 miles from the downtown area. It s hard to believe that only 12 miles from one of
the cities that virtually defines American culture; gunfire, drugs, and retched living conditions, are
commonplace. The upper class provinces of LA such as Beverly Hills and Bel Air, which are quite
differently a prime area of opportunity and big business, are the first thought of when describing the
cultural make up of the Los Angeles area.
The structural characteristics of the ghetto are a reflection of its situation. Fortification appears to
epitomize the ghetto in America today, just as back alleys, crowded tenements, and lack of play areas
defined the slum of the late nineteenth century. In an essay dealing with the fortification of ghettos,
Camillo Jose Vergara points out:
Even in areas where statistics show a decrease in major crime, fortification continues to escalate, and
as it does, ghettos lose their coherence. Neighborhoods are replaced by a random assortment of
isolated bunkers, structures that increasingly resemble jails or power stations, their interiors effectively
separated from the outside. (Vergara 1)

Essay on Jocasta in Oedipus the King
The Role of Jocasta in Oedipus the King
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he will receive the crown of life,
which the Lord hath promised to them that love Him. (James 1:12) Such is the proclamation in the
Holy Bible, and so was the proclamation in ancient Greece. Since the founding of religion, the gods
have sought to test those with power. Jocasta was sent by Apollo to do just that: to test Oedipus the

Jocasta proceeds to plant doubts of the gods by telling Oedipus the story of the Delphian Oracle and
the circumstances surrounding Laius death. Again, after Polybus death, she excitedly tells Oedipus
that his prophecy was obviously untrue, though it wasn t, and by doing so she attempts to hint that the
oracles and thus the gods are false. By planting this doubt in Oedipus mind, the gods are able to test
his faith, and his ruling power, through Jocasta a test which he fails until it is too late.
Why, then, would Jocasta be forced to perform such a dubious task for the gods? It is because she tried
to avoid an earlier prophecy. By tying her child s feet together and casting him out, she attempted to
defeat the gods, and this of course angered them. Her punishment, then, was to test the beliefs of the
very child she cast out.
Oedipus Rex was Sophocles attempt to show the Greeks that they could not avoid the dealings of the
gods, or they may be forced to conspire against the very people they should love most. Jocasta was, in
this way, a victim. Though it was by her own doing that this penalty was cast upon her, it was not
something she was happy to do, which becomes apparent when she realizes the truth in her earlier
prophecy. It is at this moment that she becomes aware of her punishment, and in desperation kills
herself. Oedipus Rex is a true tragedy in the sense that fate and

Conformity Research Paper
The behavioral pattern of conformity affected each of us at one time. It s the unspoken rules of a
group, and the most critical time is being a teenager. They have a willingness to please, and want to be
a part of the popular group. Their behavior may not be appropriate by society standard, but because
they want to fit in or belong, they may see it as the social norm. In any phases of life, a person s own
opinion may be an influence by those of groups. Especially if they are associated with university s
scholars, baseball teams or any organization deals with social groups. In Dr. Solomon, Asch s

It happens that people within the community take it the wrong way, when you are a pastor, teacher or a
counselor. In this line of professions, individuals always believe that the organizations are trying to
manipulate them. The Salvation Army as an organization itself has encountered such behavior in the
Corps and the community daily. The perception t that women are more easily to be conformed then
men, according to Asch s line judging task cards. However, the control experimental setting may give
some good result, but what about real life philosophy on the streets and in the churches. In fact, there
are more women within the churches on a hold, and it not due to the Corps officer or the pastor s
influences. In these cases, there is a real live supernatural intervention, and it is not proven that
conformity was the result. Alternatively, it would be they are obeying the rules of God himself.
Furthermore, men are absent from the church because of other personal reasons and not due to
conformity. Culture has a great deal to do with why men through history seem to be the one who
always wants to be controlled. Some of them would go at extreme length to form gangs, and some
domestic abuser, in order for individual to conform to their ways or group. These are some of the
social problem churches and organizations such as The Salvation Army have to combat in this society

The Pros And Cons Of Creative Destruction
Joseph Schumpeter was one of the most famous author and economist in the 20th century. Among his
numerous findings, one stands out; creative destruction. Creation refers to disruptive innovation on
one side, while destruction alludes to the disappearance of some jobs, industries or even sectors on the
other. A popular example is transportation. When combustion engines were invented, horse drawn
vehicles suddenly became out of age. On the short term, there was a lot of job destructions too. If
there was no need for horse drawn vehicles, all adjacent sectors were hit hard: horse breeders were
probably left with less demand, horse drawn vehicles companies began to lose their clientele. In
creative destruction, neither does the creation part nor the destruction part happen overnight. Before
being affordable to the masses and cause the economic disruption mentioned above, the auto industry
had to undergo several incremental as opposed to disruptive changes. Eventually, fordism, which has
been a cause of destructive creation as well, came along the way and created millions of jobs in the
auto industry. When one looks at the jobs created directly, indirectly with auto part suppliers, auto
dealers and thanks to new trade opportunities made possible by this new technology, it becomes
obvious that if jobs losses can be painful, on the long run, benefits from creation overweight its
drawbacks. (Creative destruction, Ricardo Caballero, MIT Economics)

Emerging Cybersecurity Technologies
Emerging technology is a term that is utilized to describe technology that is or will be developed
within the next few years. As a result, these technologies are of great interest to many individuals and
organizations. For example, how the technology will be exploited will be dependent on the
characteristics and the usage of the technology.
The increased use of information and information systems has also created an increased dependency
on this technology. The development of the personal computer in the late 1970 s early 1980 s in itself
was an emerging technology in its time. It provided the spark that set off a new revolution in

The Heart Of Darkness By Joseph Conrad
In the Heart Of Darkness by Joseph Conrad he revels that everyone has a dark or evil side to himself
or herself even if they might not be aware of it. Marlow embarked on a spiritual adventure to the
Congo, where he witnesses Kurtz, the man he has come so far to meet is engulfed in greed and has the
natives look up to him as a godlike figure. Conrad tells the tale of a mans psychological journey in
ones mind as he progresses through the jungle. Marlow s psychological changes become evident when
he approaches the heart of darkness and begins to respect Kurtz for his conniving ways in which he
used to hate. Conrad tries to show a connection between the two characters by showing the reader that

Marlow has a sense of anticipation to meet Kurtz and form his own constructed opinion on him due to
all the conflicting rumors he hears about Kurtz. The chief of the inner station describes Kurtz as an
emissary of pity, and science and progress, and devil knows what else making Marlow even more
curious to meet Kurtz. (Conrad 317) Kurtz started out with the hopes of doing good but in the end
spiraled and his motives turned into pure evil. Kurtz was already affected Marlow s psychological
journey without ever personally knowing of Marlow. Marlow was given many changes throughout his
journey to turn around before he entered and was engulfed in the darkness yet he does not yield any of
the warnings right away. Before Marlow meets Kurtz, their steamboat is attacked by the natives and
his helmsman dies. Marlow sees the death take place and is shocked. The side of his head hit the
wheel twice, and the end of what appeared a long cane clattered round and knocked over a little
campstool. ...I had to make and effort to free my eyes from his gaze and attend to the steering. (Conrad

through Smart technology allowing my students to go on a virtual fieldtrip. They were able to learn
more about the three environments and the types of animals that live in those environments.
12. During this lesson today, my students exhibited behaviors that showed me they were engaged.
They listened to the expectations well and did exactly what I requested of them to do. They were
actively listening and participating during the station time.
13.I was able to see that the students were focusing, responding, asking questions, volunteering, etc.
throughout the lesson. I also gave formative assessments throughout the lesson as well as a final
assessment. One example of a student s response would be when my students were participating in
small group discussions with peers. I went to the station this student was at and asked the student how
they knew what animals belonged in the desert environment. This student was able to articulate a
response to me which demonstrated learning. Additionally, I did interviews with the students as a
formative assessment. The final assessment took place when the students participated in the

The Acknowledged of True Love in Marie de France’s lais
The admiration of courtly love is no more prevalent theme in Marie s lais than on Yonec and Lanval .
These two lais are showing very aristocratic views on socially states; love of nobility. A love that
cannot be explained by a commoner or peasant that cannot show status has nothing to offer, for
courtly love because a peasant has no chivalry. This courtly love is often secret in that a knight and a
lady are not married to one another but to a different partner making the story adulterous. That secret
at the end makes the story ecstatic and tragic; the adhesive of the story is the passion of love that is
displayed making the store ecstatic and the secret is the tragedy that love cannot be acknowledged.
The principal argument of this essay is to understand courtly love in Marie de France s lais. To
illustrate Marie s view of aristocratic as a point of courtly love in her lais she demonstrate her view in
two different methods in the book Yonec she uses a spiritual understanding to demonstrate aristocratic;
on the contrary Lanval where she explains aristocratic in the amount of human wealth. For instance,
Marie resists in Yonec , that She didn t know what it was. It flew into the chamber; its feet were
banded; it looked like a hawk of five or six moultings (1344). Marie uses a hawk as unhuman, this is
not like a normal commoner but more than that, he is a noble. She uses a hawk since it is as opposite
to any other bird to be interpreted as a knight for his

College Education Gap Analysis
Since the beginning of American history, there has always been a gap in achievement between the
Black and minority community versus their counterparts, the Whites. The difference between the two
groups was that of opportunities. Minorities in the United States were initially deprived of all chances
at prosperity, and Whites were born into a societal prosperity; an idea that Beverly Tatum calls White
Privilege. While it is important to acknowledge that the educational gap between African American
and White students has diminished in regards to college enrollment, it is important to evaluate the
differences between what affects certain races in attendance and completion of college. The factors

Analysis Of Anne Bradstreet And Edward Taylor
Anne Bradstreet and Edward Taylor are two of the most distinguished and fervent Puritan poets. Yet
this similarity has proven to be one of the few, if not only between these two. One cannot help but find
it intriguing that poets who belong to the same religious group and style would write so differently.
Many of these differences are not even subtle or hidden beneath the text itself. The differences
themselves hold implications and ideas that differ between each poet. The first difference which is the
most obvious would be the style of each respected poet. Every poet has a unique style, but generally
those who belong to the same period or set of ideas have similar styles. Between Bradstreet and Taylor
there are no similarities in style. Taylor can be considered a much more polished poet. Taylor s poetry
is full of poetic techniques and advanced styling tools such as the iambic meter and advanced rhyming
schemes. This style can be seen as the norm for a highly educated preacher which Taylor was.
Bradstreet on the other hand has a more simplistic style that can be seen as the voice of the common
or average Puritan. Therefore, there is far less ornamentation in her poetry. If one compares the
Bradstreet s Here Follows Some Verses Upon the Burning of Our House, July 10th, 1666. and Taylor s

diction while tackling the topic of her burning house. She uses simple and

the whole plan. First they order the pizza. Then, they take their clothes off and throw them on the floor
(yes ladies, this includes dirty underwear). Afterwards, they order the pizza......and wala! Here occurs

1 Stop Making Plans Start Making Decisions
DECISION MAKING
In most companies, strategic planning isn t about making decisions.
It s about documenting choices that have already been made, often haphazardly.
Leading firms are rethinking their approach to strategy development so they can make more, better,

STOP MAKING PLANS

I
S STRATEGIC PLANNING COMPLETELY USELESS? That was the question the CEO of a global

thing else, this disconnect between the way planning works and the way decision making happens
explains the frustration, if not outright antipathy, most executives feel toward strategic planning.
But companies can fix the process if they attack its root problems. A small number of forward looking
companies have thrown out their calendar driven, businessunit focused planning processes and
replaced them with continuous, issues focused decision making. By changing the timing and focus of
strategic planning, they ve also changed the nature of top management s discussions about strategy
from review and approve to debate and decide, meaning that senior executives seriously think through
every major decision and its implications for the company s performance and value. Indeed, these
companies use the strategy development process to drive decision making. As a consequence, they
make more than twice as many important strategic decisions each year as companies that follow the
traditional planning model.
(See the exhibit Who Makes More Decisions? ) These companies have stopped making plans and
started making decisions.

Bilbo s Archetypes In The Hobbit
One little hobbit s life shall change forever with adventure lurking by for tea. Bilbo displays three
archetypes throughout his adventure. One of them is the call to adventure , where s the Tookish side of
him awakens, and Gandalf presents Bilbo with an adventure, though without giving him an
alternative. A second one is the magic item , for instance the magic ring. And ultimately, the
supernatural aid , patently Gandalf for he is a wizard. Bilbo Baggins of Bag End, Under Hill has
invariably led a quiet and boring life. Well, at least he did until thirteen dwarves came rapping at his
door. Bilbo displays the archetype the magic item when he finds the magic ring in the goblin tunnels.
Then off he went from door to door, until his following had grown to twelve none of them any to

Virginia Woolf Death Of The Moth
The Death of the Moth by Virginia Woolf explains the life of a moth that is centered around a role that
represents life. The theme is the mystery of death and the correspondence of the life of the moth with
the true nature of life. Death is a difficult subject for anyone to speak of but it part of life.
The Death Process, the struggling and fighting against death. It is demonstrated that death was
inevitable, humans tend to fight against death and anything in the way of the power will fail
eventually. Moths are associated with death as a symbol. The character of the moth itself is a
metaphorical reference and also the representation of Woolf s mental illnesses. The moth s battle with
death can represent the struggle Woolf had with her illnesses, the ups and downs in her own personal
battles. The acceptance of death relates to the suicide of Woolf, after many successes and failures, you
can t always keep fighting. The moral is that regardless of what happens to someone, life goes on and
the world does not stop turning. The word death is repeated many times in the last paragraph as it is
trying to emphasize that nothing can win the battle against oncoming doom. ... Show more content on

Flossing Essay
If you have children, you probably know how difficult it is to get your child to do anything related to
their oral health: brushing, flossing, and dentist visits. While it may not be easy and your child may
not like it proper oral hygiene is important to their health. Once your child has gotten the hang of
brushing, it is time to introduce flossing. If you are wondering how you will get your child to floss
daily and enjoy it, use these four tips to make it happen:
1. Use the Proper Tools
There are all sorts of different tools available for flossing today. You can use a waterpik, traditional
floss, or even the handheld flossers to help your child get the hang of it. As for the floss itself, you can
use any variety that your child likes: thick, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Be an Example
Just like brushing, you should aim to be an example for your child. Show your child that you floss
your teeth too. You might also want to brush and floss alongside your child. It will help make the
experience more fun for your child. Plus, you can use those precious minutes for bonding.
3. Offer Rewards
If there is one thing children like, it s rewards. During the beginning of your flossing adventure,
consider offering your child a reward for good behavior or proper technique. It doesn t have to be
candy or food, you can use toys or stickers as a reward. You can also offer extended playtime, reading,
or TV time, as a reward too.
4. Start Early and Go Slow
Finally, make sure you start instilling good flossing habits early. The younger your child starts, the
better. Starting young will also ensure that they continue the habit throughout their life. In addition,
make sure start slow. Your child may not get the hang of it immediately and that s perfectly
acceptable. Show them the ropes, practice daily, and soon they will be a master at flossing.
Flossing is a crucial part of a good oral hygiene routine. It helps to remove plaque buildup and it keeps
the gums and teeth healthy. If you are trying to introduce flossing into your child s routine, use these
four tips. Additionally, make sure they are visiting a pediatric dentist on a regular

Throughout Don Quixote s journey, his intelligence is tested along with his sanity, but the one major question is what changes his attitude toward chivalry in this novel? Chivalry, according to dictionary.com, is the sum of the ideal qualifications of a Knight, this includes: courtesy, generosity, valor, and dexterity in arms. Don Quixote believes that by bringing these qualities back into society, the world will once again obtain its beauty. On this journey, Don Quixote is accompanied by a peasant laborer, Sancho Panza, who Don Quixote refers to as his squire. Sancho, takes the roll of Don Quixote s squire because of greed. Unlike the other characters in this novel, Sancho admires Don Quixote s madness, even getting himself wrapped along in it at times. The Author uses the three main characters to emphasize different opinions on the world and love within the world. Starting with Don Quixote himself, he comes off both intelligent and insane at times. Imagining life the way he wishes it truly was, many of these examples are stated in the following paragraph. Making decisions based off what he wants not noticing the impact on others until after. • 6. A Biological Family In Kingsolver s The Bean Trees Everyone has a biological family but, sometimes people give up their children or when children grow up they sometimes decide to leave this biological family. But, this does not mean that these children have given up a family forever. According to dictionary.com, a family is considered to be a group consisting of parents and children living together in a household . This definition generates the idea that family does not have to be biological. In The Bean Trees, Kingsolver uses the intimacy between the character to suggest the idea that non biological families can be as strong or even stronger than biological ones. The connection to Taylor s heritage helps to create a sense of family and belonging when she is in Cherokee nation. When Taylor first leaves home she drives through C herokee nation which, reminds her of her heritage and family so she writes a letter to her mom. On the postcard, she writes: No offense, but the Cherokee Nation is crap. Headed west. Love, M (16). This shows the connection between her and the Cherokees. When she writes Cherokee Nation is crap it shows how she is leaving her heritage and family behind. Also, she says headed west , this indicates her continuing her journey which can foreshadow to a new family or heritage. • 7. Universal Algebras Associative Ring ( R ) KEY WORDS: Fuzzy set, anti S fuzzy subsemiring, pseudo anti S fuzzy coset. INTRODUCTION: There are many concepts of universal algebras generalizing an associative ring ( R ; + ; . ). Some of them in particular, nearrings and several kinds of semirings have been proven very useful. Semirings (called also halfrings) are algebras ( R ; + ; . ) share the same properties as a ring except that ( R ; + ) is assumed to be a semigroup rather than a commutative group. Semirings appear in a natural manner in some applications to the theory of automata and formal languages. An algebra (R ; +, .) is said to be a semiring if (R ; +) and (R ; .) are semigroups satisfying a. ( b+c ) = a. b+a. c and (b+c) .a = b. a+c. a for all a, b and c in R. After the introduction of fuzzy sets by L.A.Zadeh[11], several researchers explored on the generalization of the concept of fuzzy sets. The notion of anti fuzzy left h ideals in hemiring was introduced by Akram.M and K.H.Dar [1]. The notion of homomorphism and anti homomorphism of fuzzy and anti fuzzy ideal of a ring was introduced by N.Palaniappan K.Arjunan[6]. In this paper, we introduce the some Theorems in anti S fuzzy subsemiring of a semiring. 1.PRELIMINARIES: 1.1 Definition: A S norm is a binary operation S: [0, 1][0, 1]  [0, 1] satisfying the following requirements; (i) 0 S x = x, 1 S x = 1 (boundary condition) (ii) x S y = y S x (commutativity) (iii) x S ( y S z) = ( x S y) S z (associativity) (iv) if x  y and w  z, then ... • 8. Teens And Hispanic Teenage Pregnancy There are many factors when it comes to which teenagers are most likely to get pregnant. These factors consist of race, the country they live in, and economic status. Starting with race, whites have a significantly lower rate of teenage pregnancy than those who are Hispanic or African American. White and African American teenage pregnancies have both gone down while Hispanic teenage pregnancy has gone up in the last 15 years (Coley Chase Lansdale, 1998). Even though Hispanic teenagers tend to be sexually active later in their adolescence, studies have proven that they are less likely to use birth control; increasing the likelihood of becoming pregnant. Once pregnant they are less likely to abort than Whites or African Americans leading to a higher rate of Hispanic teenage pregnancies (Coley Chase Lansdale, 1998). While race plays a big role, what country you live in also contributes to your chances of being pregnant as a teenager. In fact, at the beginning of this decade, the rate of teenage births was almost twice as high in the United States as in the country with the next highest rate, Great Britain; more than 4 times greater than those of Sweden and Spain; 7 times greater than those of Denmark and the Netherlands; and 15 times greater than that of Japan (Coley Chase Lansdale, 1998, p. 152). • 9. A Successful Analysis Of Data Using Ancova A successful analysis of data using ANCOVA is dependent on assumptions that relate to the study design, namely, a continuous dependent variable, a categorical independent variable with two or more independent groups, a continuous covariate variable, and the need for independence of observation (Field, 2012). Other assumptions are presented during the course of the SPSS analysis to ensure data does not violate assumptions, even though there is some leeway for violation of certain assumptions. For the analysis, time spent stalking after therapy (stalker2) was the dependent variable, the intervention group (cognitive behavior therapy contrasted with psychodynamic therapy) was the independent variable, and time spent before therapy (stalker1) was the covariate to control for incoming behavior. Two study designs are associated with ANCOVA pre post study designs and condensing the outcome of inappropriate variable, but only after the preliminary assumptions have been satisfied (Huitema, 2011). The Stalker.sav data was appropriate for measuring the same dependable variable in two or more unrelated independent groups over two points; hence the pre post study design. Linearity Assumption There was a linear relationship between the time spent stalking before therapy (pre) and the time spent stalking after therapy (post) for each intervention type, as evidenced by the scatterplot below. INTRODUCTION Introduction Time is one of the major factors in learning .In order for learners to achieve success in any field, they need time to learn ,practice and apply what they have learned to fulfill goals (Farbman ,A N). Educational institutes in the US nowadays are trying to improve the quality of the education offered to students, therefor, there is a growing concern on how to use educational resources effectively such as time in learning. Previous researches indicated that there is a direct relation between the amount of time given to instruction and learning. This paper contributes to this growing literature on the effect of the long time spending in the educational institutes on students performance and achievement. In order to examine the impact of long instructional hours on student success and performance an action research project has been conducted at the ELS center in Murfreesboro. Aim of the Research The main of this research is to investigate the students perspectives concerning the long instructional hours in the ELS Center. The Research Objectives The objectives of the project is to identify the advantages and the disadvantages of the long working hours in the ELS center as well as offering suggestions for alternative scheduling to improve the quality of education offered by the center and might also increase students productivity and performance in the future. Drake Composition 1010 Shannon Ward 17 October 2017 How you feel isn t what you are This is a argumentative essay against the notions of gender roles portrayed by masculine and feminine traits, from section four of Composing Gender How Do We Define Sexuality ? The idea that one individual can feel masculine or feel feminine does not make them a male or female. Throughout Composing Gender, many readings refer to sexuality as an inevitable part of gender construction, several authors use the terms heteronormative and compulsory heterosexuality to describe a social structure in which the expression of sexuality is seen as normal only. This is the assumption that you are not meeting the un stated facts of masculinity, causing you to seem weaker, revealing more feminine traits. It is also said within this passage that most boys call others faggots as a joke but won t call anyone a fag if there is a homosexual around (Pascoe, 2011, p. 212 213). Though overall no one is claimed a faggot at all, the only thing that these children used to determine who was or wasn t a fag was their clothes how they took care of themselves and other things. Pascoe seems that the term faggot is more of a way for kids to put up a wall against homophobia, and create some type of borders against male sexuality. Going back to my thesis, these adolescent boys already know the difference between a gay and straight boy. They can tell when one is being very prominent about his sexuality as stated above, so they won t call them a fag. These boys are natural, and practice heteronormativity to prove they are not unnatural or heterosexual. In order to fit in with the rest of their school and to prevent being called a faggot. However Shakespeare still cleverly manages to make Lady Macbeth and Macbeth relate to audiences of all eras and to convey a strong moral message within his play. The relationship between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth is fascinating to study. When Macbeth loses Lady Macbeth s support later on in the play he is forced to act independently of her, and so loses the ability to murder. I feel that his actions throughout the play are an indication of Macbeth s dependency on his wife, as well as his misuse of their love in order to claim the title of King. He refers to Lady Macbeth as: [his] dearest partner of greatness showing that Macbeth envisages them sharing the power of the throne. In his soliloquy Macbeth admits that he has no spur To prick the sides of [his] intent which indicates that Macbeth knows that he will require Lady Macbeth to be his spur , and coax him into murdering Duncan. On the other hand, in Black Men Public Space , Staples makes the reader empathize with him and blacks in general and makes the reader see his perspective. Staples emphasizes his concern for being considered a threat in public spaces through the use of explicit language. Staples starts off by saying, My first victim was a woman (197). Children don t read books so social conventions need to be taught by modelling behaviour and communication. With the exception of severe disabilities or social problems, all humans acquire language as a core of basic property of their humanity called vernacular which is used in everyday life Gee Hayes (2011, p. 8). Marita Sturken and Lisa Cartwright argue that there are very few viewers who decode images passively because there is no mass culture. This is because each viewer has different contexts and social backgrounds meaning that the images they view can be decoded in various ways because of their frame of reference and background. However the subject of how audiences decode and view media including advertising can be seen in various different perspectives particularly with Karl Marx and Louis Althusser who have similar but different theories around audiences as passive and active parts of the decoding process. Through Stuart Hall also we can understand the different ways audiences can receive a advert. Sturken and Cartwright s theory of audiences focuses on the idea that everyone has their own background and frame of reference that determines how they decode an image (57). In advertising this theory is vital in understanding how audiences perceive images and understanding the effects and success of advertising on different people around the world. A part of this surrounds the identity of the viewer and the relevant context of the advert. For example, the Steinlager Pure advert which depicts the nuclear free image of New Zealand (Steinlager Pure). How this advert is received will depend on who views it. The media represents this category of people using a narrow group of information, presenting a particular skew of opinion, which is passed onto the individuals who place trust in these sources. Through the media interpreting the typical Australian, generally not showing the reality of immigrants it allows society to disregard refugees or asylum seekers as they do not fit this ideal Australian. This ideology of the Australian has caused a history of social categorization and discrimination, often based in a racial or religious difference between the British Australian settlers, and a variety of groups, including: the Indigenous community, Chinese gold rush settlers, and Mediterranean immigrants. It s hard to believe that only 12 miles from one of the cities that virtually defines American culture; gunfire, drugs, and retched living conditions, are commonplace. The upper class provinces of LA such as Beverly Hills and Bel Air, which are quite differently a prime area of opportunity and big business, are the first thought of when describing the cultural make up of the Los Angeles area. Fortification appears to epitomize the ghetto in America today, just as back alleys, crowded tenements, and lack of play areas defined the slum of the late nineteenth century. By planting this doubt in Oedipus mind, the gods are able to test his faith, and his ruling power, through Jocasta a test which he fails until it is too late. Why, then, would Jocasta be forced to perform such a dubious task for the gods? It is because she tried to avoid an earlier prophecy. Among his numerous findings, one stands out; creative destruction. Creation refers to disruptive innovation on one side, while destruction alludes to the disappearance of some jobs, industries or even sectors on the other. A popular example is transportation. When combustion engines were invented, horse drawn vehicles suddenly became out of age. On the short term, there was a lot of job destructions too. If there was no need for horse drawn vehicles, all adjacent sectors were hit hard: horse breeders were probably left with less demand, horse drawn vehicles companies began to lose their clientele. In creative destruction, neither does the creation part nor the destruction part happen overnight. Before being affordable to the masses and cause the economic disruption mentioned above, the auto industry had to undergo several incremental as opposed to disruptive changes. Eventually, fordism, which has been a cause of destructive creation as well, came along the way and created millions of jobs in the auto industry. When one looks at the jobs created directly, indirectly with auto part suppliers, auto dealers and thanks to new trade opportunities made possible by this new technology, it becomes obvious that if jobs losses can be painful, on the long run, benefits from creation overweight its drawbacks. These two lais are showing very aristocratic views on socially states; love of nobility. A love that cannot be explained by a commoner or peasant that cannot show status has nothing to offer, for courtly love because a peasant has no chivalry. This courtly love is often secret in that a knight and a lady are not married to one another but to a different partner making the story adulterous. As the greatest combat force in the world we are forced to ask ourselves what has changed so much in the US Military that sexual assault reports have climbed 129% between 2004 and 2012, (SAPRO) and a drastic 50% to 5,061 reports in ... • 30. College Education Gap Analysis Since the beginning of American history, there has always been a gap in achievement between the Black and minority community versus their counterparts, the Whites. The difference between the two groups was that of opportunities. Minorities in the United States were initially deprived of all chances at prosperity, and Whites were born into a societal prosperity; an idea that Beverly Tatum calls White Privilege. While it is important to acknowledge that the educational gap between African American and White students has diminished in regards to college enrollment, it is important to evaluate the differences between what affects certain races in attendance and completion of college. The factors that will be considered are family dynamics, finances, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Obviously, a low socioeconomic status is more closely tied to that of a minority. In Susan Dynarski s experiment, the findings indicate that low socioeconomic African American students have less contact with faculty, study less, are less involved with student organizations, work more, and have lower grades than do their high SES peers or all African American students. Does a student s socioeconomic status correlate with the relationships they share with their professors and peers with higher socioeconomic statuses? Furthermore, 9 years after entering college, low SES students report lower incomes, lower rates of degree attainment and lower aspirations than their high SES peers, and were less likely to have attended graduate school. Logistic Regression results indicate that sex, college GPA (Walpole 1). From my experience, students who ve graduated from my (majority black) high school who had a low socioeconomic status expressed feelings of disconnect from the students in their chosen institution, especially if it was a predominately white institution (PWI); they ve felt as though they could not relate to the people around them. This factor could contribute to a feeling of not belonging, which proves to be very strong in a student s decision to stay in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 31. Analysis Of Anne Bradstreet And Edward Taylor Anne Bradstreet and Edward Taylor are two of the most distinguished and fervent Puritan poets. Yet this similarity has proven to be one of the few, if not only between these two. One cannot help but find it intriguing that poets who belong to the same religious group and style would write so differently. Many of these differences are not even subtle or hidden beneath the text itself. The differences themselves hold implications and ideas that differ between each poet. The first difference which is the most obvious would be the style of each respected poet. Every poet has a unique style, but generally those who belong to the same period or set of ideas have similar styles. Between Bradstreet and Taylor there are no similarities in style. Taylor can be considered a much more polished poet. Taylor s poetry is full of poetic techniques and advanced styling tools such as the iambic meter and advanced rhyming schemes. This style can be seen as the norm for a highly educated preacher which Taylor was. Bradstreet on the other hand has a more simplistic style that can be seen as the voice of the common or average Puritan. Therefore, there is far less ornamentation in her poetry. If one compares the Bradstreet s Here Follows Some Verses Upon the Burning of Our House, July 10th, 1666. and Taylor s From God s Determinations. One can see the difference in syntax clearly. Bradstreet uses simple diction while tackling the topic of her burning house. She uses simple and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

In truth, a teenage girl would make her bed, listen to music, or watch tv, while her teenage brother would sit there and eat pizza while playing video games. Honestly, it might exist as an art, because who knew someone could be so good at being disgusting. They lay out the whole plan. First they order the pizza. Then, they take their clothes off and throw them on the floor (yes ladies, this includes dirty underwear). Afterwards, they order the pizza......and wala! Here occurs the room of a messy teenage boy. • 33. 1 Stop Making Plans Start Making Decisions DECISION MAKING In most companies, strategic planning isn t about making decisions. It s about documenting choices that have already been made, often haphazardly. Leading firms are rethinking their approach to strategy development so they can make more, better, and faster decisions. STOP MAKING PLANS START MAKING DECISIONS by Michael C. Mankins and Richard Steele I S STRATEGIC PLANNING COMPLETELY USELESS? That was the question the CEO of a global manufacturer recently asked himself. Two years earlier, he had launched an ambitious overhaul of the company s planning process. The old approach, which required business unit heads to make regular presentations to the firm s executive committee, had broken down entirely. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Richard Steele (rsteele@marakon.com) is a partner in Marakon s New York office. 78 thing else, this disconnect between the way planning works and the way decision making happens explains the frustration, if not outright antipathy, most executives feel toward strategic planning. But companies can fix the process if they attack its root problems. A small number of forward looking companies have thrown out their calendar driven, businessunit focused planning processes and replaced them with continuous, issues focused decision making. By changing the timing and focus of strategic planning, they ve also changed the nature of top management s discussions about strategy from review and approve to debate and decide, meaning that senior executives seriously think through every major decision and its implications for the company s performance and value. Indeed, these companies use the strategy development process to drive decision making. As a consequence, they make more than twice as many important strategic decisions each year as companies that follow the traditional planning model. (See the exhibit Who Makes More Decisions? ) These companies have stopped making plans and started making decisions.

One of them is the call to adventure , where s the Tookish side of him awakens, and Gandalf presents Bilbo with an adventure, though without giving him an alternative. A second one is the magic item , for instance the magic ring. And ultimately, the supernatural aid , patently Gandalf for he is a wizard. Bilbo Baggins of Bag End, Under Hill has invariably led a quiet and boring life. Well, at least he did until thirteen dwarves came rapping at his door. Bilbo displays the archetype the magic item when he finds the magic ring in the goblin tunnels. Then off he went from door to door, until his following had grown to twelve none of them any to nimble, what with the dark, and what with their long imprisonment { Tolkien, The Hobbit 174}. This displays Bilbo rescuing his comrades from the Elvenking s oubliettes with the backing of the ring. Dazzlingly marvelous! Perfect! Flawless! The theme is the mystery of death and the correspondence of the life of the moth with the true nature of life. Death is a difficult subject for anyone to speak of but it part of life. The Death Process, the struggling and fighting against death. It is demonstrated that death was inevitable, humans tend to fight against death and anything in the way of the power will fail eventually. Moths are associated with death as a symbol. The character of the moth itself is a metaphorical reference and also the representation of Woolf s mental illnesses. The moth s battle with death can represent the struggle Woolf had with her illnesses, the ups and downs in her own personal battles. The acceptance of death relates to the suicide of Woolf, after many successes and failures, you can t always keep fighting. The moral is that regardless of what happens to someone, life goes on and the world does not stop turning. The word death is repeated many times in the last paragraph as it is trying to emphasize that nothing can win the battle against oncoming doom. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Instead of burning coal and natural gas, we can use more wind turbines, hydro electric dams and other green electricity options. We also need to research solar panels more, so we can make them more efficiant. Start Early and Go Slow Finally, make sure you start instilling good flossing habits early. The younger your child starts, the better. Starting young will also ensure that they continue the habit throughout their life. In addition, make sure start slow. Your child may not get the hang of it immediately and that s perfectly acceptable. Show them the ropes, practice daily, and soon they will be a master at flossing.
