There were no Bibles, but there were Unitarian hymnals on every chair which we
sang from after the sermon. The songs sounded much like Christian hymnals but
were very diverse in nature. The hymns were from various religions, but the words

Epiphanies in James Joyce s Dubliners Characters in Dubliners experience
revelations in their every day lives which James Joyce called epiphanies. Merriam
Webster defines an epiphany as an illuminating discovery, realization, or disclosure.
While word epiphany has a religious connotation, these epiphanies characters in
Dubliners experience do not bring new experiences and possibility of reform that
epiphanies usually have. Joyce s epiphanies allow characters to better understand
their circumstances, generally full of sadness and grief. After these revelations,
characters go back to their lives with acceptance but frustration. Dubliners fail to see
their situation fully, which is the reason they lacked reaching their full potential.
Dubliners is full of characters in lethargic positions that Joyce saw as the fate of all
Dubliners. In each story, he gave each individual the possibility of an epiphany, but
often the characters failed to break through and see their ability to change their

CSLs showing signs of DA poisoning at the Marine Mammal Center were sedated
and studied using MRI. Neuro radiologists viewed 34 brain scans taken and noted

Meriwether Lewis played a vital role in finding Louisiana. He went through a life
threatening journey with William Clark, but it payed off. He became the governor of
Louisiana, promoted by Jefferson. But, on October 11th, 1809, Lewis was
gruesomely murdered at the Grinder Inn. His murder has been ruled a suicidefor
decades, but as more people investigate this case, it s evident that suicide is not what
happened.

Priscilla Grinder was the only witness to Lewis murder. Priscilla was questioned
three times, and each time her story changed. According to exhibit C, in the first
account Priscilla stated the alleged suicide had taken place at 3 am. She said there
were two gun shots and Lewis servants had come into his room. Then, Lewis had
asked for water. In the second account, the two gun shots were heard at dusk. She
stated Lewis lived for TWO HOURS after the shots were fired. In the final account,
Priscilla said men had come and called for lodging. Lewis had challenged the men
to a duel, but the men declined and continued down to the next house which was
five miles away. Later, there were three gun shots fired at two or three hours before
day. Lewis allegedly knocked on Ms. Grinders door, but she did not answer.
Looking through a crack in the wall, she reported Lewis was crawling across the
street on his hands and knees. As seen in exhibit B, it would ve been impossible for
Lewis to survive for long after these shots were taken. Crawling across the street,
living for two more hours after the shots, or simply asking for water wouldn t have

All the entrees came just as we finished the wings and calamari. We had encountered
difficulty finishing the Caesar Salad. The combination of pepperoni, mushrooms,
sausage, onions, green peppers , black olives, ham and mozzarella complimented
each other as the flavors and remnants oozed out of the fresh dough. The red sauce
that accompanied the Calzone had an extra hint of garlic which is the aroma that
is used in many of the dishes that came past our table. It was very hard
concentrating on what we order when all the dishes that came past us smelled and
looked so good. Dessert: Tiramisu and Double Chocolate Mousse Cake called from
the menu. Since the meal was so filling, we took our dessert home. The next
morning the tiramisu was just as I expected with the right amount of liqueur. My
taste buds were not disappointed and although it was not intended for breakfast, I
was completely satisfied with my choice of desserts. They are a sponsor for the
University of Miami and it shows. The takeout counter has a bristling business on a
Friday night. Many of the patrons at the restaurant were donning U of M jerseys
and the like. Our bottle of water had the University of Miami logo on the face and
