From almost the beginning, the idea of community and local based Slow Money
ideals being served through crowdfunding was acknowledged here in Southern
California. Our Slow Money SoCal founding members were working against a
conservative legal backdrop and a sprawling suburbia that made local investing and

This paper details my observation of a child at The Children s house. When I
called to schedule an observation time, I decided to go when the children would
be outside engaging in activities of their choosing. When I arrived my plan was to
observe first (without interfering), then once I had the notes that I needed to write
about friendships and play, I intended to ask a child the questions that were
provided in the rubric. Initially, most of the children were scattered around
playing by themselves, in pairs or groups of 3. After observing for about 10

In the summer of 1982, a local Turkish sponge diver named Mehmed Cakir set out
on a normal morning dive. In the Bay of Antalya in the Mediterranean Sea near the
city of Kas, the diver took a boat not too far off shore. During his dive, he found
what he described as metal biscuits with ears and reported them to the Institute of
Nautical Archaeology in Kas. The INA then sent a team to the shoreline to discover
what would end up being the Uluburun, the oldest shipwreckever excavated.
The site of the Uluburun shipwreck is just 50 meters (160 feet) off the eastern shore
of Uluburun, and 6 miles southeast of the city Kas, Turkey. Excavation of the
Uluburun shipwreck began in July of 1984 and lasted until late 1994. It was split
up into eleven campaigns, each lasting around three to four months. The Institute of
Nautical Archaeology controlled the entire excavation; however it was led by two
different nautical archaeologists. Dr. George F. Bass initiated the preliminary
campaign in 1984 and was taken over by Dr. Cemal Pulak in 1985 until 1994. Dr.
George F. Bass is recognized as one of the early practitioners of underwater
archaeology. In 1960, Bass was the director of the first archaeological expedition to
entirely excavate an ancient shipwreck, Cape Gelidonya, which is not far from the
site of the Uluburun. When Bass left the project to teach, Pulak took over and has
been directing INA s annual shipwreck surveys in Turkey since 1982.

when Bradbury mentions, At night the ruined city gave off a radioactive glow

The following students died in the library: Cassie Bernall (17, also known as the
girl who said, yes ), Steven Curnow (14), Corey DePooter (17), Kelly Fleming (18),
Matthew Kechter (16), Daniel Mauser (15), Isaiah Shoels (18), John Tomlin (16),
Lauren Townsend (18) and Kyle Velasquez (16). Out of the fifty six people in the
library, thirty four escape injury. The two shooters continued wandering around the
corridors of the schools, aimlessly shooting lockers, ceiling tiles and any other part
of the building in their sight. At 12:08 PM, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold fatally shot
themselves in the library where they killed seventy seven percent of their victims.
On what became known as the deadliest mass shooting in United States history at
the time spurred numerous copycat killers. Most come to the conclusion these
copycat killers are mentally ill, however, in an article by Max Fisher and Josh
Keller, What Explains U.S. Mass Shootings? , a 2015 study estimated that only 4
percent of American gun deaths could be attributed to mental health issues .
Additionally, 30 percent of mass killings and 22 percent of school shootings
appeared to have been inspired by previous events (Kutner). The manor the media
used to report the Columbine High School massacre and other mass shootings has
influenced copycat shootings and plans. Since April 20, 1999, there have been nine
mass school shootings

In the past two weeks I have been helping and guiding my boyfriend Richard of
three years with his resume and cover letter. I have a lot of practice and experience
with them where as he started working at a young age and hasn t moved around
often in jobs. We looked at his skills and traits and started linking them to what an
employer wants. Employers want a certain education and skill but they also want a
certain personality. Someone who can work well with others, is helpful and has
good communication skills, someone who is dependable and hard working. I have

Number 2, critical or quarrelsome. I marked Richard very low for this, he agrees
with others or will completely stay out of the conversation to avoid any quarrel. he
is good natured, forgiving, gullible, and helpful. Before he started dating me, he
would never assert himself during conversations, or have a strong opinion in fear
of turning someone off. He would also pay for everything, even his friends lunch,
which they expected paid every time. I marked him very low, but I believe this has
been an area where he is improving as far as self respect and assertiveness. Again
Richard s insecurities or doubting himself really came out during the Self Data
Report, when he took the Ten Item Personality Inventory, TIPI (Gosling, Rentfrow,
Swann, 2003). I didn t tell him any information about the test except how to take it.
When he was done I started looking over the results, and of course i started to
