This document outlines KVES Workplan to enhance implementation of basic education amid the pandemic for SY 2020-2021. It identifies 4 key areas of focus: 1) Pupil development - to ensure learner safety, health, and preparedness for face-to-face classes. 2) Curriculum development - to provide learning modules and resources for both online and offline learning. 3) Physical facilities development - to implement health protocols and prepare classrooms for new normal education. 4) Staff development - to train teachers on delivering different learning modalities and using ICT tools for teaching. Budgets from MOOE and SEF funds are allocated for each area with targets to provide resources to 90-100% of students.
