Traditional method:
• The traditional method of trading was time
consuming & inefficient. It was known as over the
counter trading system.
• The number of transactions were also limited
• To overcome the defects of traditional method,
NSE has introduced a nation-wide on line fully
automated Screen Based Trading System (SBTS)
• This system enabled the investors to easily
inspect and look at the prices of various
securities.
• All the transactions are fair as they are matched
by the system.
