The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) was established with the objectives of establishing a nationwide trading facility for securities, ensuring equal access to investors across the country, and meeting international standards for securities markets. The NSE offers trading in various products, including equities, derivatives, debt instruments, and mutual funds/ETFs. It is the largest stock exchange in India in terms of transactions, and is ranked highly globally for its derivatives trading. The NSE aims to provide a fair, efficient and transparent market for investors through electronic trading systems and other initiatives, such as investor education programs and certifications through its NCFM training modules.
