The review article examines barriers and facilitators for regular physical exercise among adult females, categorizing them into three primary themes: physical body related factors, psychosocial factors, and physical exercise environmental factors. Findings indicate that factors like gender, age, social support, and environmental accessibility significantly influence females' participation in physical exercise, with significant health benefits to regular activity. This discussion is crucial, especially given the global concern of physical inactivity contributing to a rise in non-communicable diseases among females.
