This presentation discusses the relation between biotechnology and the Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC). BADC utilizes several biotechnological approaches in its operations, including vermicomposting, biogas plants, biodiversity conservation through cultivating various crops and animals, and mass selection techniques. These approaches allow BADC to produce higher crop yields in an eco-friendly and sustainable manner. The presentation concludes that biotechnology is important for BADC's activities as it allows leveraging of natural processes to meet agricultural needs.
