DIFFRENCE BETWEEN OFFSET AND MIRROR:
OFFSET:

MIRROR:
You can flip objects about a specified axis to create a symmetrical mirror image.

TRIM:
An act of cutting something in order to neaten it.

Break command enables you to break (remove part of) an object by defining two break points.
Or
Breaks the selected object between two points.
Erase:
The command erases(deleted) any selected objects from the drawing.

SCALE:
Scale command can be used to change the size of an object or group of objects.
STRETCH:
Stretchcommandcan be usedto move one or more verticesof anobjectwhilstleavingthe restof
objectsunchanged.
DIFFRENCE BETWEEN LINE AND POLYLINE:
Line:
It is most simple of autocad using the line command,a line can be drawn between any two
points picked with the drawing area.
POLYLINE:
Polyline or pline command is similar to the line command except the resulting objects may be
composed of a number of segments which form a single objects.
DIFFRENCE BETWEEN CIRCLE AND ARC:
ARC:
The arc command is used to draw an arc of a circle.the default method uses three pick points.

Circle command is used to make circle .the default method is pick the centre point and then to
either pick a second point on the circumference of the circle or enter the circle radius at the
keyboard.
COORDINATES:
POLAR COORDINATES:
Polarcoordinatesuse one distance andone angel todescribe the positionof the pointratherthantwo
distancesInthe cartesionsystem.
ABSOLUTE coordinates:
Relate to the x and y axis and The origin of the current coordinate system.we use comma
between the distance.
RELATIVE COORDINATES:
Relative to the current pick point.we use the at symbol as a prefix.
MLINE:
It allows you to draw multilines.
OSNAP:
Osnap are essential to specifying precise locations on objects.osnap allow you to snap onto a
specific object location when you are picking a point.
DTEXT:(dynamic text)
Allows you to add the text to a drawing and see the text as it is being placed.
MTEXT: (multilines)
Mtext also called multilinetext,has more formality options,and is better for the large amounts
of text.

ZOOM WINDOW:
Which is useful for zooming in quickly and precisely zooms to a section of the drawing that you
specifty by clicking two points.
DIFFRENCES BETWEEN GRID AND SNAP:
GRID:
Grid is rectangular pattern of lines or dots that covers the entire xy plane of the user
coordinates system.The grid helps you align objects and visualize the distance between them.
Snap:
Restricts cursor movement to specified intervals.
ROTATE:
The ROTATE command allows you to rotate an object(s) around a point of reference on the XY
plane.
Stretch:
Stretches objects crossed by a selection window or polygon.
ZOOM:
The ZOOM command allows you to change the display size of a drawing on the computer
screen.
WBLOCK:
Saves selected objects or converts a block to a specified drawing file.
BLOCK:

Creates a block definition from selected objects.
EXPLODE COMMAND:
Breaks a compound object into its component objects.
LAYER COMMAND:
The LAYER command allows you to create multiple layers to draw on. It also allows you to
control the color, line type, activity, and visibility of individual layers.
ORTHO COMMAND:
The ORTHO command limits the movement of the cursor to horizontal and vertical directions.
ARRAY:
The ARRAY Command allows you to create duplicates of existing objects in a rectangular or circular
(polar) pattern.
Polar array:
Evenly distributes object copies in a circular pattern around a center point or axis of rotation.
RECTANGULAR ARRAYCOMMAND:
For a rectangular array you must specify the number of rows and columns and also
the spacing between subsequent rows and columns
ARC:
Draws an arc.The defaultmethod of drawingarcs is selectingthree points (so-called "3 point arc"),which are the
two endpoints of the arc and some other point alongits locus.Other methods of drawingan arc can be specified
by three letters, such as SEA, which means "Start Point, End Point, and Included Angle."
DIMLINEAR:
creates a linear dimension with a horizontal, vertical, or rotated dimension line. This command replaces
the DIMHORIZONTAL and DIMVERTICAL commands.
BHATCH:
Fills an automatically defined boundary with a hatch pattern through the use of dialogue boxes. Also
allows previewing and replacing adjustments without starting over each time.

DIMRADIUS:
Dimensioning sub-command:
Draws the radius dimension of an arc or circle from the center to the point on its locus where the arc or circle
was selected.
DONUT (Command):
Creates a filled circle or a wide ring.
A donut consists of two arc polylines that are joined end-to-end to create a circular shape. The width of
the polylines is determined by the specified inside and outside diameters. If you specify an inside
diameter of 0, the donut is a filled circle.
Polygon:
a plane figure with at least three straight sides and angles,
and typically five or more.
Zoom :
The ZOOM command allows you to change the displaysize of a drawing on the computer screen.
Types of zoom:
Extents
Zooms to the edges of the drawing.
Previous
Returns to
the last
Zoom
view.

If you type 2x,

Zoom
XP
Allows you to
scale a view in
the Model side
of Paper Space.
To use Zoom
XP, click in a
viewport
window and
activate the
Zoom
command. At
the prompt, type
a zoom factor
followed by the
letters XP.
Example:
1xpreturns the
view to the
original
projected size
and 2xp would
make the view
in the window
twice the paper
units.
DDEDIT :
1. Choose Modify, Text...
or
2. Click the Edit Text icon from the Text toolbar.

3. Type DDEDIT at the command prompt.
