The Instructional Support Team at St. Peter's Prep conducted a survey that found many students had difficulty following directions, staying on task, and needed repeated instruction. The results identified issues with deciphering instructions, making connections, maintaining attention, falling behind, and work ethic. Nearly 40% of incoming students scored poorly on placement tests, prompting admissions to recommend summer foundations courses. The team set out to create a film about auditory processing disorder, the most common and least understood learning challenge, to help teachers and students understand it and identify actions to support deeper learning.
