• The audience for short films is quite specific, this is
 a lot different from the audience for full length
 feature films. There are two main groups of
 people who are going to be familiar with short
 films. This would be unemployed students who
 plan to make it big in the film industry, the other
 group would be people who are already successful
 within the film industry.
• The student sector of the audience
 would be placed in the E sector of
 the graph. The reason for this is
 because they are students and also
 that they are unemployed, most of
 the people in this group will watch
 short films so that they can gain
 inspiration and ideas for their own
 films.
• Whilst researching I watched a lot of movies about
 the 9/11 attacks as this is the topic my film is also
 going to be based around. During my research I
 discovered a lot of different facts about the 9/11
 and watching these films also gave me a insight on
 how people changed, this would include things
 such as their thinking towards a certain race. The
 target audience for these films would have been
 people who were affected by the attacks but also
 people who were affected of the aftermath of the
 attacks.
• My film is representing the affects that the 9/11 attacks had on
  a small group of boys within a secondary school, its different in a
  sense that people who make these types of movies tend to
  concentrate on the clash between adults however I have
  decided that movie will be different and show that the attacks
  didn’t just create tension between adults but also teenagers. As
  my movie is based around the 9/11 attacks and the affects
  within a school I believe my target audience will be males and
  females from the ages of 15 to 25. The reason why I have chosen
  this age group for my target audience is because it will be people
  from this age group who will be watching my movie as people
  from this age group also fit the description of class E from the
  demographic table. This age group also consists of people who
  aspire to be filmmakers in the future this is another reason why I
  am targeting my film as this specific age group.
• Furthermore I am using young actors in my film the
 reason for this is because my target audience is of
 people from the E sector in the demographic graph,
 so people will be able to relate to my characters
 and understand the message that is being
 portrayed to them through my characters and
 through my movie.
