1) Astrology can be used as a prognostic and diagnostic tool in Ayurveda based on its recognition as one of the six auxiliary sciences (shadanga) of Ayurveda.
2) Astro-medicine interprets the influence of celestial bodies on human health and disease based on their electromagnetic and gravitational forces. It aims to anticipate disease and treatment plans through astrological readings.
3) Astro-medicine terminology can be used to understand disease patterns based on placements of planets in the natal chart, especially in the 6th, 8th and 12th houses which are associated with disease. Transits of planets can also indicate timing of disease manifestations.

The 'Sutra' is that power of words endowed to mankind to express his thoughts in a short and apt form. These Sutras are the conclusions of exhaustive survey of several years corroborating the experiences of ages. As the definition of Sutra states.
The one which comprises of minimum letters but maximum matter which is in the form of confirmed pure knowledge, and also possessing the power of self elaboration is defined as Sutra.
The Sutras possessing such a broad speculum are collected to comprehend the Samhita or Tantra. But the essence of the Samhita is extracted in its Sutrasthana only. The main and important classic, which narrates Ayurveda Shastra, is Caraka Samhita, which is the foundation stone of Ayurvedic literature. This Dwadasha Sahasri Samhita is also divided in eight Sthanas, amongst them the Sutrasthana which is most important being the Adyasthana and is representive of rest Sthanas.
Just like a thread, which keeps all the flowers together in garland. similarly Sutrasthana comprises the essence of all Sthanas in seed form.
The nectar from all the flowers of the rest 7 Sthanas is collected to design the Sutrasthana.
The Sutrasthana lies as the Madhusancaya of the Samhita. This nectar of knowledge has been stored by Acharya Charaka in very beautiful way i.e. in the form of Chatuska Methodology.
For student of Rasa shastra it is important to be well versed with the knowledge of Paribhasa i.e definitions. As paribhasa itself is vast subject, an attempt is made by these series of presentations to bring the knowledge easily available to learners.

Avasthapaka
Nishtapaka

Ayurveda is one of the oldest traditional systems of medicine that has survived and flourished from ages till date. Ayurveda is knowledge system dealing with what is required to maintain health and to cure diseases. The basic theories of Ayurveda are the Panchamahabhuta, Tridosha, Saptadhatus, Trimalas etc. Understanding and practices of Ayurveda are based on these theories. In an age where validity of concepts is judged by their scientific relevance, establishing the scientific validity of basic concepts is atmost important. It requires translating concepts and their practical application. There are many approaches still to be explored by the Researchers, practitioners, experts in the field of Ayurveda to keep the traditional system alive and contributing to its growth in the future. However, due to many barriers such as lack of literature sources in different languages and insufficiency of awareness about the basic principles, there is a lacuna of exchange of information from the system around the globe. In this work we have made an attempt to put forth the basic principles of doctrines of Ayurveda to contribute to the society. A Critical Review on Clinical Application of Sadvidhopakramaijtsrd
The eternal science of life Ayurveda has indicated various types of chikitsa for the management of diseases among these the chikitsa mentioned sadvidhopakrama where is lot of significance. Now a days our way of living lifestyle is drastically changing and our desires are growing day by day this results in excessive growing needs of people due to which they are facing numerous diseases or illness in the letter stage of life. These are mainly caused by lack of physical activities and unhealthy eating habits. in ayurvedic text acharyas have mentioned the origin of diseases is broadly classified in a two ways 1.santarpana Janya vyadhis. 2.apatarpana Janya vyadhis. Acharya charaka emphasized on the concept that method of treatment depends on the Intelligence and of a physician, considered a part of yuktivyapshraya chikitsa. sadvidhopakrama plans to act by balancing the proportion of Panchamahabhutas in the body, result of any upakrama is dosasamyata, whatever may be the treatment modalities it will come under the peerview of Sadu pakrama, that is reason these principles of sadvidhopakrama are implemented in day today clinical practices. Flu Vaccine Alert in Bangalore Karnatakaaddon Scans
As flu season approaches, health officials in Bangalore, Karnataka, are urging residents to get their flu vaccinations. The seasonal flu, while common, can lead to severe health complications, particularly for vulnerable populations such as young children, the elderly, and those with underlying health conditions.
Dr. Vidisha Kumari, a leading epidemiologist in Bangalore, emphasizes the importance of getting vaccinated. "The flu vaccine is our best defense against the influenza virus. It not only protects individuals but also helps prevent the spread of the virus in our communities," he says.
This year, the flu season is expected to coincide with a potential increase in other respiratory illnesses. The Karnataka Health Department has launched an awareness campaign highlighting the significance of flu vaccinations. They have set up multiple vaccination centers across Bangalore, making it convenient for residents to receive their shots.
To encourage widespread vaccination, the government is also collaborating with local schools, workplaces, and community centers to facilitate vaccination drives. Special attention is being given to ensuring that the vaccine is accessible to all, including marginalized communities who may have limited access to healthcare.
Residents are reminded that the flu vaccine is safe and effective. Common side effects are mild and may include soreness at the injection site, mild fever, or muscle aches. These side effects are generally short-lived and far less severe than the flu itself.
Healthcare providers are also stressing the importance of continuing COVID-19 precautions. Wearing masks, practicing good hand hygiene, and maintaining social distancing are still crucial, especially in crowded places.
Protect yourself and your loved ones by getting vaccinated. Together, we can help keep Bangalore healthy and safe this flu season. For more information on vaccination centers and schedules, residents can visit the Karnataka Health Department’s official website or follow their social media pages.
Stay informed, stay safe, and get your flu shot today!
