Rejoice at God’s promise like someone who finds great spoil Ps 119:162.
Seek for God’s word like Silver, search for it like it’s hidden treasures. Prov 2: 1-4
1. The document introduces a course on studying the 613 mitzvot (commandments) in the Torah. It discusses how the mitzvot relate to working and guarding the spiritual garden within ourselves and helping others through righteous deeds.
2. The mitzvot help fulfill human needs, especially of the soul, and work through the body to elevate the soul. Living according to the mitzvot strengthens one's soul, protects from sin, and guides believers to live in a Godly way through both actions and abstaining from actions.
3. While the mitzvot were given to Jews, the document argues they represent a guide for a good life with value for all. The course
God's plan of salvation is meant to produce holiness in believers. Salvation rescues people from sin, its guilt, power, and eventual presence. While salvation provides forgiveness, it also places believers in union with Christ to be transformed into his moral likeness through the Holy Spirit. The purpose of salvation is because of human sin, which is any lack of conformity to God's law and rebellion against him. God saves people so they can be increasingly conformed to Christ's righteousness, love, humility, and other virtues. Ultimately, God is in the business of holiness - he disciplines believers so they can grow into full Christ-likeness.
This document discusses the importance of holiness from a biblical perspective. It provides several definitions of holiness, including: 1) having one's mind aligned with God according to Scripture; 2) striving to avoid sin and obey commands; 3) imitating Jesus Christ. It notes that holiness involves outward conduct, inward motivation, and obedience to God's word. The document laments the decline in holiness preaching and living, and attributes this to issues like undermining biblical authority, lack of role models, and a self-centered theology that focuses on what God can give rather than what He wants us to become.
The document discusses three traits that are common among saints: Marian devotion, detachment, and study. It states that saints showed great devotion to Mary and saw her as essential to growing closer to Jesus. Saints also practiced detachment by giving up worldly possessions and desires in order to focus solely on God. Finally, saints engaged in deep study of theology and faith through various means to continually grow in their knowledge of God. Examples are given of saints like Maximilian Kolbe, Francis of Assisi, and others to illustrate each trait.
Why do we have many religions is there more than one godSabry Shaheen
The document discusses why there are many religions and whether there is more than one God. It argues that while the core teachings of religions promote goodness, scholars have distorted some teachings over time to claim their religion as superior or the only path to salvation. This has led to inconsistencies in religious texts and contradicting claims among religions. The document asserts there is only one God and the original prophets delivered a consistent message of obeying God and doing good.
The document summarizes the goals and topics of the Parkside Bible Fellowship's adult Sunday school class. The class aims to help Christians live out their faith in today's secular society by examining biblical principles and applying them to contemporary issues. It discusses how believers should love God and their neighbor, and be salt and light in the world. The class will assess how to thoughtfully engage culture from a biblical perspective rooted in both scriptural commands and love.

The document discusses ten key Christian doctrines: God, Christ, the Holy Spirit, the Bible, salvation, Christian living, the church, family, the spirit world, and the future. It provides questions and answers about the nature and significance of each doctrine. For example, it explains that Jesus Christ was fully God and fully man, that he died on the cross to atone for humanity's sins, and that he ascended to heaven and will return again. The document aims to outline foundational theological beliefs and their importance.
This document discusses several mitzvoth (commandments) related to building a relationship with God. It examines the first commandment to have no other gods before God, explaining that it means committing to God alone in service and belief. It also analyzes commandments about believing that God is one, loving God, fearing/having awe of God, and serving God through prayer and study. Maintaining these mitzvoth guides one's relationship with God and strengthens spiritual devotion to the divine.
The document discusses various perspectives on success from a Christian viewpoint. It begins by asking questions about what truly constitutes success and greatness. It then examines biblical examples of people who were successful according to God, despite facing difficulties or setbacks. Several key points are made:
- True success in life involves faithfully serving God and becoming like Jesus, not worldly measures like wealth or power.
- Success depends on one's values and living according to God's priorities like loving others, trusting in Him, and dedicating one's life to His purposes.
- Maintaining integrity, self-control, and submitting to authority are essential for godly success.
Jesus was sure of the greatest commandmentsGLENN PEASE
This is a study of Jesus being sure of the greatest commandments. To love God supremely and to love your neighbor as yourself are, He said, the two greatest commandments. All the law and the prophets hang on these two commandments.
The document discusses morality and its basis in human conscience and reasoning abilities endowed by God. It argues that morality is based on applying the "golden rule" of treating others as you wish to be treated. It states that while good deeds are important, true salvation requires obedience to religious teachings and repentance from sin. Several virtues and sins are outlined, including defending the oppressed, self-control, abortion and homosexuality being sins. It notes the common ground among religions is the golden rule. In the end, it analyzes that various religious teachings share similarities as inspired by the same creator.
This document discusses identity, particularly identity in Christ. It begins by listing various aspects of the author's identity such as their nationality, religion, and name. It then defines identity and different forms of identification like fingerprints. The rest of the document explores finding one's identity in Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. It lists aspects of a Christian identity such as being royalty, free from sin, and equipped. It emphasizes the importance of not conforming to the world and renewing one's mind by focusing on godly values. Finally, it discusses why having a godly identity centered in Christ is important for focus, strength, purpose and more.
What shall i do to inherit eternal life-Margaret DavisAntonio Bernard
This document discusses what is required to inherit eternal life. It says we must allow God's love to come into our hearts. While outward obedience to God's law is important, what is most vital is having the love of God in our souls. We need to surrender our supreme love of self. The document shares an experience of the author realizing through discussion with her father that she only had a superficial understanding of salvation and true righteousness. She was motivated to study diligently to understand what it means to be a Christian and have victory over sin through God's power, not just human effort.
Spiritism teaches that:
1. God is the loving Creator of the universe and Jesus is our perfect role model who teaches love and peace.
2. We are eternal spirits who reincarnate to evolve morally and become better people through our thoughts, feelings and actions.
3. When we die, our spirit discarnates from the body and either goes to a beautiful place in the spirit world to continue learning if we were good, or stays on Earth in need of prayers if we were unfortunate.
The document discusses the blind spots and hypocrisy of the Pharisees, and draws parallels to how modern Christians can fall into the same traps. It outlines a 12-step process for developing right relationships, beginning with admitting one's own powerlessness to transform oneself and believing that only God can save us from our sinful nature. The final part emphasizes that Christians should not pretend to be perfect but instead must constantly admit they are flawed people in need of God's ongoing salvation.
This document summarizes a teaching about being transformed by renewing one's mind according to Romans 12:1-2. It discusses that we are called to fully devote ourselves to God and resist being conformed to worldly ways of thinking. By renewing our mind with truth, our thinking, emotions, and behavior can be transformed as we dismantle strongholds built on lies and bring every thought into obedience to Christ. Our words have power to release either faith or fear, so we must take authority over fearful thoughts and fill our mind with Scripture instead of passively accepting whatever thoughts come.
Sun Myung Moon taught that people should live for others rather than themselves. He said this is in line with Jesus' teaching to love your neighbor as yourself. According to Moon, living for others is the path to becoming the owner of love and entering the heavenly kingdom. Several prophets, including Anthony Brooke and Shan Bolz, received revelations about Moon's role and Korea's importance in God's providential plans.
The document provides guidance on success and failure according to Judaism based on teachings from the Old Testament. It states that to succeed, one must obey God and keep his commands. It references many verses stating that obedience will result in blessings while disobedience will result in curses. It emphasizes teaching God's laws to children and having them always in mind. It also discusses teachings on justice, loving foreigners, and not taking advantage of the poor. The overall message is that following God's laws as revealed in the Old Testament is key to success according to Judaism.
1. The document discusses the normal progressive development of a Christian through spiritual growth.
2. It describes surrender as a two-part process - initially deciding to surrender one's will to God's ownership, followed by daily yielding of areas of understanding and behavior to the Holy Spirit's transformation.
3. Spiritual growth is portrayed as a process where God increasingly changes a believer's perspectives to align with His through sanctification and renewal as the believer allows Him to illuminate and alter their understanding.
This document contains a sermon about spiritual warfare against Satan and demons. It discusses how Christians must know their enemy (Satan and demons), know their King (Jesus Christ), and use the armor and weapons of God, which include truth, righteousness, faith, salvation, the Word of God, prayer, and perseverance. The sermon emphasizes the importance of prayer in spiritual warfare and communicating with God, who ultimately leads Christians to victory over Satan and the forces of evil.
The document outlines six essential requisites for spiritual growth as identified by the Universal House of Justice:
1. Prayer - Saying obligatory prayers daily with purity, humility and detachment.
2. Reading sacred scriptures - Reading each morning and evening with reverence, attention and thought.
3. Meditation - Pondering teachings to understand them more deeply and fulfill them faithfully.
4. Striving - Bringing one's behavior in line with spiritual teachings through daily effort and overcoming tests.
5. Teaching - Sharing spiritual truths with others through preparedness, qualities and action.
6. Service - Selflessly serving the cause of God and humanity
This document is from Prophets Edge Ministries and discusses walking in alignment with God. It states that our essence should be to walk in relationship with God and experience His presence. We were created to exercise who God is on Earth. The essence of walking with God is making His life and presence our lifestyle. It ignites passion for truly living through Christ within us, not just being alive. Our walk should be circumspect before God and man, with the proper spirit, attitude, and character so that we transform things around us into God's likeness.
What Is Control? Control seems to be a problem in every time of transition from an old wave of God's glory to a new wave, such as we are experiencing today. The power of control affects every circle of Christianity. The abuse of control holds people in unnecessary bondage and hinders them from fulfilling the purpose of God in their lives. There is a natural control that people can exert over others, and there is a self-control that must be exercised within the individual. But there is also a demonic control that can be exercised by one person over another. While this book will deal with the abuse of control, we will also examine the positive side of control, which is called "commitment." This God-given authority is placed on an individual who is committed to fulfill the plan of God in the earth and who looks to the Lord—not to people—for personal security and promotion. Each of us needs to exercise self-control in order to keep ourselves free from sin. We exercise that control by applying the Word of God to our lives. The Word is the balance, and we must all use discipline in our daily experiences. But people who exercise abusive control seek to become the deciding factor in the lives of others. Such individuals replace the Word of God as the balance in the lives of those whom they dominate; they react negatively if they are not the control point of all decisions made. We must realize that what is happening in the spiritual realm is being reflected in the natural realm. There is a great struggle going on in the world today for control of people's minds. This struggle is between the forces of light (Christianity) and the forces of darkness (Satanic powers).
This document discusses the similarities between different religions and argues that they all originated from the same source. It provides examples from texts of various faiths that promote virtues like justice, wisdom and social responsibility. It acknowledges differences have emerged over time but says the core teachings are the same. The document encourages focusing on common practices and acknowledges it can be difficult to start, but to do so with determination. It aims to promote peace between people of different beliefs.

Church Sermon: The Church - Visionary
Marikina Foursquare Gospel Church
March 6, 2016
Rev. Kay Carolino, Ptr. Noolen Mayo, Ptr. Jhun Agarpao, Bro. Martin Valenzuela
The document discusses visionary leadership and defines different types of leaders. It profiles four visionary leaders - John Alexander, Joseph Holland, Stephen R. Covey, and Hyrum W. Smith - who created entrepreneurship incubators and supported innovative startups and business training programs in their community. The document also discusses leadership experts like John Maxwell and his books on developing leadership skills and becoming a person of influence.
This dissertation examines visionary leadership among school superintendents in Western Pennsylvania. It explores how superintendents have led their districts through the challenges of increased accountability and preparing students for a globalized world. The study interviewed nominated visionary superintendents to understand their leadership approaches and how the Western PA region influences leadership development. Key findings included evidence that superintendents possess skills needed to succeed in today's world, and that the Western PA region seems to promote visionary leadership despite its reputation for being parochial. The results supported theories of transformational and visionary leadership.
While the passage discusses visionary leaders like Martin Luther King Jr. and Jawahar Lal Nehru, it does not provide a clear and compelling vision. The visions presented are either too generic, like organizing the world's information, or vague plans to explore opportunities without an overall goal or direction. An effective vision should inspire and guide others with a concise yet ambitious description of the future that an organization or movement wants to create.

1) Astrology can be used as a prognostic and diagnostic tool in Ayurveda based on its recognition as one of the six auxiliary sciences (shadanga) of Ayurveda.
2) Astro-medicine interprets the influence of celestial bodies on human health and disease based on their electromagnetic and gravitational forces. It aims to anticipate disease and treatment plans through astrological readings.
3) Astro-medicine terminology can be used to understand disease patterns based on placements of planets in the natal chart, especially in the 6th, 8th and 12th houses which are associated with disease. Transits of planets can also indicate timing of disease manifestations.
The document discusses the importance of vision and vision statements for leadership. It defines a vision as a mental picture of what an organization aspires to become. An effective vision statement provides general direction, context for decision making, and affects organizational structure and relationships. Crafting a good vision involves getting input from team members and communicating the vision enthusiastically to help the team embrace it.
Dr. K. Shiva Rama Prasad presented on astro medicine from a doctor's perspective. He discussed how astrology aims to predict diseases and their progression based on planetary positions. However, he noted there are many flaws and inconsistencies in how astro medicine assigns diseases and body parts to astrological factors. Many relationships described conflict with each other and there has been little rigorous research conducted. He concluded that while astro medicine aims to offer insights, it remains a largely unvalidated subject from a medical perspective and requires much more systematic study.
Visionary leaders are builders who work with imagination, insight, and boldness to envision the future. They see the big picture and think strategically. True visionary leaders demonstrate qualities like having a clear inspiring vision, empowering relationships, innovative action, and balance across multiple dimensions. Examples highlighted include Nandan Nilekani who envisioned a national ID system in India, Mahatma Gandhi who led a nonviolent movement for Indian independence, Barack Obama who brought hope and change as the first African American U.S. president, and Richard Branson making space travel available to the public through Virgin Galactic.
The document discusses visionary leadership and compares it to managerial and strategic leadership. Visionary leaders are described as future-oriented, concerned with risk-taking, and not dependent on the organization for their identity. They guide knowledge creation by encouraging contradictory capabilities and define boundaries using metaphors and models. Qualities of visionary leadership include a commitment to core spiritual values, a clear and inspirational vision, respectful and empowering relationships, innovative and courageous action, the power of imagination, and making social responsibility a priority. Barriers to visionary thinking are described as avoidance of risk-taking, lack of strategic planning, and lack of knowledge in a complex world. The document concludes with five principles of visionary leadership: challenge

4 Discipline: Managing My Generosity,Values & Growthprojecthope123
This document discusses principles of financial stewardship and generosity based on biblical teachings. It covers managing generosity by focusing outward through giving, which benefits both the giver and receiver. Strong values provide moral direction, as shown through comparisons of King David and Saul. Personal growth is also important, though it requires active effort rather than just experience. The document provides biblical examples and practical steps individuals can take to strengthen their generosity, values, and continued personal development.

It’s not the birth of Christ –The only reason we celebrate his birth is His death and resurrection!
It’s not the life he lived on earth, his life would have not been a big deal if he didn’t live to die, and die to live again.
This document provides advice for religious leaders on how to lead their traditions in a changing world. It suggests leading through adding to the tradition rather than subtracting from it, focusing on practices like trusting scripture over interpretations, extending grace to both insiders and outsiders, and seeing the church's role as furthering God's kingdom rather than ensuring the church's own survival. The overall message is to lead with patience, creativity, and an outward focus on serving God and others.
This document provides advice for religious leaders on how to lead their traditions in a changing world. It suggests leading by adding to the tradition rather than subtracting from it, focusing on practices like trusting scripture over interpretations. Leaders are advised to get outside their normal environments to find where God is working, teach openly rather than covertly, and celebrate the journey of faith rather than only focusing on survival or exclusion of others. The overarching message is that religious leaders should see their role as furthering God's kingdom through both caring for their communities and engaging in mission that brings people together.

It encourages starting with one's own home and social circles to clear misperceptions and promote mutually beneficial speech to build trust between religious and cultural communities. The overarching message is that individuals, societies and faiths must take responsibility to prevent mischief in all forms.
The document discusses key concepts from 1 Corinthians, including:
- Investors, detractors, and destroyers - with investors building "heaven's gold" by balancing God's sovereignty and man's responsibility through discipline and hard work.
- Man's responsibility includes building the foundation of faith and removing evil, while God's sovereignty provides gifts like revelation, inspiration, and sanctification.

Following these steps allows confident decision making knowing God provides clear direction.
This document discusses the importance of mentoring and discipling new believers. It makes three key points:
1) Without mentoring, new believers will adopt the values of those around them, so it is important for them to be challenged and taught biblical values and convictions.
2) Most new believers are impacted more by what they see from other believers than what they hear them say. Seeing biblical spirituality modeled is important for their growth.
3) Spiritual parenting through mentoring and modeling helps new believers transition from self-dependence to dependence on God and the Holy Spirit. The goal of discipleship is spiritual maturity and fruitfulness that leads to reproducing disciples of their own.
This document discusses the unique values, theology, and environment of Grassroots church. It notes that Grassroots emphasizes exploration of Scripture, openness to new perspectives, and searching for a transformational faith. This leads to an environment that encourages deep study, humility, care for one another, a focus on families, and developing leaders. The community strives to foster radical support, welcome diversity, and share its love within Thunder Bay through outreach to marginalized groups.
The purpose of spiritual discipleship is to help believers understand what God is doing in their lives in order to accelerate their spiritual transformation from independence from God to dependence on Him. Effective discipleship involves prayerfully seeking those who are spiritually hungry and teachable, meeting regularly over several months to examine scripture, share struggles, and provide accountability as both the disciple and mentor grow in their dependence on the Holy Spirit and ability to reproduce this process in others. The goal is for disciples to become mentors themselves through a balanced approach of individual and corporate spiritual training.

This document discusses building an organization deliberately designed to spread God's love on Earth. It outlines the key aspects of such an organization: the people, processes, products, and profits.
The people must be born again Christians fully committed to God's will. The processes involve executing core business activities and skills with discipline. The products are what the organization offers customers to spread God's love. Profits refer to accomplishing God's goals, not financial gains.
The document asks questions about properly defining each of these aspects and calls people to model Jesus by living as he lived and doing what he did to transform lives and disciple nations.
This document outlines an overview for organizing a church to fulfill its mission. It discusses ensuring the church has the right people committed to God's work and growing in leadership. The vision is for God's love to be visible, impactful and contagious through modeling Christ and discipling nations.
This document discusses the difference between real and fake lives. It argues that in today's world, status and achievement are based on perceptions of wealth, education and career success, fueling a constant race to climb the social ladder. However, this chase for status is "fake" and leads to consumer debt, depression, and inauthentic relationships. The document encourages living an original life focused on God rather than the perceptions of others. It notes that Jesus exemplified a life centered on serving God and others rather than wealth or status.
This document discusses Jesus' perspective on Nigeria's independence and the role and identity of Christians. It asserts that Christians are citizens of heaven, representatives of God on Earth, and living stones in God's house. The document emphasizes that a Christian's agenda and ambition is God's will and service, they are crucified with Christ and abide in Jesus, and they are members of Christ's body, not of any particular church or leader.
This document discusses the importance of sharing one's experiences and faith with others. It argues that people naturally share meaningful life experiences through social media. For Christians, sharing one's identity and blessings in Christ with both fellow believers and non-believers is important. The world provides a "ripe harvest" of souls to reach, and Christians have a responsibility to take opportunities to share their faith and resources with others through acts of love and compassion.
Building Capacity - Developing TradingAbilityIkeja, Lagos
This document discusses building capacity and understanding stewardship. It notes that capacity determines what one can contain or accomplish, and that capacity is useless without function. The first capacity to build is stewardship - understanding that everything comes from God and is for God. Faithful stewardship of little things leads to greater responsibility. Understanding stewardship determines one's eternity. Trading and business skills are important for kingdom work, as they allow one to create and exchange value. The goal is for one's work to have lasting value beyond themselves.
Building Capacity - Foundational Paradigms for Living in AbundanceIkeja, Lagos

It provides action steps like asking for grace, accepting work, and finding ways to volunteer to build capacity. Finally, it outlines statements about identity in Christ.
Building Capacity - Practical Steps to Develop CapacityIkeja, Lagos
This document discusses building capacity through practical steps of development. It defines capacity building as obtaining, improving, and retaining the skills and knowledge needed to perform jobs competently. It then lists several "capacities" to examine oneself on, such as stewardship-ability, cheerful-ability, and relational ability. The document encourages setting goals for 2018 to improve these capacities and provides action steps for families. The overall message is about developing skills and abilities through self-examination and goal-setting in order to better serve and represent God.

The objective is to live as God lives and do what he does without a personal agenda or ambition, being crucified with Christ and abiding in him as part of his kingdom and body.
Building Capacity - Developing Risk Taking AbilityIkeja, Lagos
This document discusses developing risk-taking ability by examining the parable of the talents in Matthew 25:14-30. It argues that both foolish risks undertaken without consideration and prudent risks researched with faith in God can build God's kingdom. While knowledge helps with calculated risks, true confidence comes from trusting God's direction. The document cites biblical figures like Abraham and Jesus' disciples who took risks for God. It closes by asserting that God calls believers not to a timid life but to represent him boldly through risks taken in faith.
Building Capacity - Developing multiply-abilityIkeja, Lagos
The document discusses developing multiply-ability and building capacity. It encourages plugging into God as the source of multiplication. God has given responsibilities and assignments, and expects his followers to trade and work with their gifts to increase and proliferate their impact. By forgetting themselves and engaging in God's work with reckless abandon, believers can relax, as God will cause his work to multiply through their hands. The successful steward engages in the father's business.
The document discusses the vision, mission, and identity of an organization focused on modeling Christ's love and transforming lives through discipleship. The vision is for God's love to be visible, impactful, and contagious worldwide. The mission is to model how Christ lives and acts, disciple nations. The identity described includes being a citizen of heaven belonging to God's kingdom, with God's will as one's agenda and God's service as one's ambition, abiding in Christ as a branch of the vine.

It encourages becoming part of this culture by learning about it, imitating others who exemplify it, and putting it into practice. This culture prioritizes considering others' needs and rejoicing in their blessings over self-focus. It is modeled on Jesus caring for others above himself. The document asserts that living this way of love transforms us and allows us to freely serve and represent God on Earth.
The Love Code – Love does not Fly off the HandleIkeja, Lagos
This document discusses the concept of love from a biblical perspective. It states that love is life, and those who do not live in love are dead. True love, or "Heaven's Culture," means not flying off the handle in anger and not keeping score of others' sins. It then examines the nature of anger and its causes. The document provides biblical references about anger and contrasts anger with love. It gives examples from the Bible of people who did not keep scores, such as Jephthah, Joseph, and Jesus. Finally, it emphasizes that as followers of Christ, we must practice love.
This document discusses the concept of love as described in the Bible. It provides several definitions of love from passages such as 1 Corinthians 13:6. Love is described as not taking pleasure in injustice but rather rejoicing in the truth. It does not delight in evil or wrongdoing but finds joy in righteousness. True love treasures truth, celebrates good behavior, and promotes virtue. The document emphasizes that to exhibit God's love means having God's perspective on sin and righteousness by sorrowing over sin but rejoicing at truth and virtue.
This document discusses the importance of love and putting up with others. It notes that total submission to God and trust in His lordship allows one to put up with anything or anyone. The goal of love should be Christ. Several reasons are provided for why people may not want to put up with others, such as loss of sight, pride, laziness, and focusing on self. However, when filled with God's love, one can see others through God's eyes and express lack of faith by refusing to tolerate others. Leading and discipling others for God is another reason to put up with others. The document concludes by stating aspects of one's identity and belonging as a citizen of heaven, representative of God, living stone
The document discusses the nature of love. It states that love does not parade itself, have a swelled head, or behave rudely. Love is defined as being selfless and focused on others rather than oneself. Examples are given of words that describe behaviors that love does not exhibit, such as strutting, boasting, or being conceited. The root of behaviors that love is not is said to be self. True love imitates the example of Jesus by being humble, serving others, and living according to God's will rather than one's own agenda or ambition.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

convict him of SIN – The Holy Spirit.
In the Midst of the Talk of Eternity – Expect men to be focused on

thing, then recommend another group.

out give to others! (Acts 20:35)

Scriptures
It is more blessed to give than to receive. (Acts 20:35)
1 Thes 5:12-18
12 Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge
those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord
and who admonish you. 13 Hold them in the highest regard in
love because of their work. Live in peace with each other.
14 And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are
idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the
weak, be patient with everyone. 15 Make sure that nobody
pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is
good for each other and for everyone else.
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all
circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

The Way He Wants You to Live!
12-13 And now, friends, we ask you to honor those leaders who
work so hard for you, who have been given the responsibility of
urging and guiding you along in your obedience. Overwhelm
them with appreciation and love!
13-15 Get along among yourselves, each of you doing your part.
Our counsel is that you warn the freeloaders to get a move on.
Gently encourage the stragglers, and reach out for the
exhausted, pulling them to their feet. Be patient with each
person, attentive to individual needs. And be careful that when
you get on each other’s nerves you don’t snap at each other.
Look for the best in each other, and always do your best to bring
it out.
16-18 Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no
matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong
to Christ Jesus to live.
