Essay about Improving Change Management
Throughout every organization is an opportunity to introduce new change. Change can have a
positive or negative impact on the surrounding environment, both internally and externally.
Implementing a change requires adjustments to the status quo, sometimes leading to employees that
are directly affected by the change to feel threatened. Change can also produce positive reactions,
such as boosting morale, increasing profits, or decreasing costs. A new change in an environment
must be carefully planned out, to ensure that the expected results are achieved while maintaining all
other processes at an acceptable level. There are several factors that contribute to improving change
managementwithin a data center of any firm. According to... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

This idea is to abandon perfection in favor of action. By forcing a decision making process
within a reasonable time frame, this allows the firm to release the ship from the pier. Riskin also
correlates this rule to having a positive impact on the esprit de corps of the firm. This rule in
particular allows firms that are struggling with introducing change to overcome this resistance.
Another valid rule of Riskin s seven is to ask for commitment not agreement (Riskin, 2006, p.
30). This rule displays the need that not everyone in the firm has to be 100% on board with the
impending change, but everyone has to be committed enough to the firm to go along with the
change. This is invaluable advice for legal firms (such that I have experienced) which struggle to
achieve change buy in from select partners. With emphasizing the fact that everyone must be on
board for what is best for the firm, it allows the reduction or elimination of possible sabotage
efforts from people who are resistant to change. Riskin concludes, fostering change in a law firm
seems impossible because most Managing Partners treat the activities associated with such change
as if they were component piece of a legal transaction. All of these resistances can be overcome by
following the rules outlined by Riskin. When focusing on the practical

The Artist Of Brownstones By Jacob Lawrence
Topic 1: Brownstones is a bit of abstract art depicting a group of what appear to be African
Americans going about their lives on a busy street. This is a clear piece of the architecture that
led to the swelling civil rights movement of the 50s. During the 1920s and 1930s, as a result of
the combined forces of the Great Migration, the Depression, the Jazz Era, and the Harlem
Renaissance, Harlem was transformed into a community with a unique identity. A sanctuary for
African American art, this new cultural oasis enjoyed a sense of optimism in spite of economic
difficulties. Like many writers and artists of his time, Jacob Lawrence, the artist of Brownstones,
was inspired by the dynamic vitality of the Harlem community. One of the more interesting
aspects of this is the communal response that was brought about by the Renaissance . Initially
during the civil rights movement it was students who marched at the forefront, those with
nothing to lose and everything to gain. However, over time the movement blossomed fully, and
those from all walks of life stepped up to defend liberty. In the wake of the assassination of
Martin Luther King, we as a nation(most of us anyway) stood as one against oppression and
hatred. We fought the good fight, without weapons or blows, but with dollars, steps and words. It
wasn t a war though. You don t win wars by dying for your country, you win by making the other
guy die for his. This was a rebellion, two sides claimed they held the same

Examples Of Equality In To Kill A Mockingbird
Equality is not earned or achieved easily. However, it is like a law. Often people assume they are
better than someone else, but are taught otherwise. Society judges one another to the point where
they believe they are more prevalent than someone else. In the book To Kill a Mockingbird,
fairness and equalityis confused, and not treated right. Since this book is set in a specific time
period, racism and genderhave a huge role in the book. The video I Am Malala tries to focus on
how women are just as equal as men. A girl named Malala has a strong belief in this topic, and is
helping change the way people look at women. Can the Law Make Us Decent? informs readers
about people not helping others because of their race or ethnicity. Mississippi Trial shows how
different racisms are beginning to get along, but still have something holding equality back. The...

Throughout this book equality and judgement is an enormous issue. Hiram is the main
character in this book. He encounters a lot about segregation since his Dad is against it but his
Grandpa has a cotton plantation. He states, I remembered how he felt about Negroes, and did
not plan on saying anything to him about Emmet and the river (Crowe 65). At the time,
incidents involving different colored people was judged to always be the colored persons fault.
Judgement on these groups brought hatred and violence to life. Hiram encounters a child,
Bobo, being forced to carry his bags and finds it strange. Hiram watches Bobo when he utters,
Then he looked at me and said, Don t see nobody carrying my b bags around for me, and
followed Ruthanne (Crowe 49). Since the time period was set for segregation, colored children
were taught to be a slave to whites. People with A different skin color have their own life to

Seamus Heaney Tony Curtis Essay
Seamus Heaney Tony Curtis
On initial reading both the Follower and Strongman are simply about a son s relationship with their
father. Whilst this relationship is a central theme of both poems, the poems also explore a range of
issues including cultural identity, guilt and social class. This essay will attempt to analyse both
poems individually and to also identify areas of conflict and similarity between the poems.
The first two words of Follower by Seamus Heaney are My father which immediately establishes
the poet s emotionally involved relationship with the subject of the poem. In contrast the poet of
Strongman writes in the third person for the majority of the poem and it is only really in the last
two lines that the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Follower , however, is viewed by Seamus Heaney as an expert and this is reinforced by the poets
use of precise technical language set the wing And fit the bright steel pointed sock and Mapping
the furrow exactly . It is implied to the reader that Seamus Heaney, since childhood, has studied his
father s work, which therefore introduces a nostalgic theme to the poem. In contrast whilst there is
still a strong sense of admiration present in Strongman, the focus of the narrator s attentions is
directed more on to the physical strength of his father rather than any skilful aspect to the work.
Tony Curtis uses hyperbole to highlight his father s physical strength Chest like a barrel with a
neck that was like holding onto a tree .
(deracinate / deracination) = rootlessness
The first half of the Follower can be described as memories of the poet s father. The second half
of the poem shifts a gear to become a haunting collection of personal reflections. Whilst
admiration of his father is the dominant emotion in the first half of Follower, it morphs (?) into
guilt in the second half. Guilt is a prevailing theme in Seamus Heaney s work. The poem Digging
is a particularly relevant example of how the poet contrasts the intellectual and middle class nature
of his work as a poet with the working class labours of his family. In Digging, Seamus Heaney
directly compares his work tool of the pen with the

Health Of Public Health Services
In the United States. Public health infrastructures are set up to better serve and provide the
necessary public health services to the community. These Infrastructures are not only dictated by
the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, but by Public health agencies at the state and local
level or by private and public organizations. Every healthagency must abide by three core functions
in order to promote health in the community. They must first assess by observing the health status
of a community, identifying the health issues and providing solutions. Next, they must develop
policies and plans that support individual and community health efforts, enforce law and regulations
to ensure health safety. Finally, they must assure that the people are informed and educated about
health issues. Under these functions, there are also ten essential health services that each agency
thrives to provide to the community to ensure proper and quality health care (The Public Health
System and the 10 Essential Public Health Services, 2014)
The Gwinnett, Rockdale and Newton county health departments collaboratively work to provide a

Stephen King s Essay Why We Crave Horror Movies
Stephen king wrote an essay called Why We Crave Horror Movies. Stephen King is a bestselling
novelist. He is a great author to some people. In this essay he writes about how people watch
scary movies and do scary things to show they are not afraid. He also says that people enjoy
these things. He says that people like blood, murder, and serial killers. He talks about how society
rewards certain emotions and looks down on other emotions. He says that we all feel the emotions
that society looks down on but people don t let them show as much. He has flaws within his
writings and an invalid argument.
Stephen King writes a whole essay about why everyone loves horror movies; but what if someone
does not like scary movies? That is a hasty generalization. If King does not even engage the other
side of the spectra then his argument is easily dismissed. I hate scary movies to the point I will
not watch them. If they are on TV I will get up and do something else. I have seen one scary
movie and hated it, since then I have not watched another. Just the fact that I hate scary movies
disproves his whole argument that everyone craves them, because I do not. In order to have a well
developed essay one must give both sides of the argument. Without that then the essay can be easily
disproved. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Raoul Wallenberg And The Holocaust
During the Holocaust, around 6 million Jews died of persecution from many groups of people.
But this number could have been much greater if it was not for the efforts of many courageous
people. There is not an exact number of how many people were saved during the Holocaust, but the
death toll would have been much larger if people, like Raoul Wallenberg, did not help. Raoul
Wallenberg was a Swedish businessman and diplomat who showed much moral courage by saving
countless Jews during World War II. Raoul Wallenberg was born on August 4, 1912 in Sweden
. He
was born into one of the richest families in Sweden, the Wallenbergs. Since his family was very
wealthy, he had the opportunity to attend college abroad in another continent. In 1931, Wallenberg
went to the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in the United States to study architecture. He
graduated in three and a half years with a bachelor s degree of Science in Architecture. This
bachelor s degree allowed him to come into contact with many Jews that had escaped from Europe
during the early years of persecution while he was working on architecture in Palestine (Raoul
Wallenberg). In June 1944, the War Refugee Board, or WRB, a U.S. established organization that
helped support rescue missions for Jews, recruited Wallenberg to lead their operations in Budapest,
Hungary. When Raoul Wallenberg arrived in Budapest, there were only 230,000 (в…“) Jews left

possible because of the new aircrafts acquired by Air Canada; the Boeing 787 9 Dreamliner is
vital to Air Canada and plays a big role in their expansion as it creates a new level of experience
and comfort during the flight. It plans to use the 787 9, Dubai routes, because it offers a longer
flying distance and more passengers seating. The new destination is very suitable for Air
Canada as it plays a key role in opening markets in the Middle East which will help the airline go
further into Asia without using it s codeshares which in turn also means Air Canada will get all
of its profits and will not have to pay anything to the other airlines. This expansion will benefit
the economy, as it will bring in more passengers from around the world, which means there will
be an increase in tourism. The expansion will also catch the world s attention in the business
perspective as travelling from Dubai to Canada will be easier, more comfortable and quicker. The
new route also offers more options for travellers between Canada and the Middle East, as a direct
flight is easier and more comfortable than having 2 3 stops in between as it makes the journey
frustrating and very stressful.

Political Science Of Political Sabotage Or Dirty Plans Essay
Ratf**ked is a term used in political science to describe political sabotage or dirty plans. David
Daley, in his book of the same name, describes Republicans incentives in 2010 to take control of
state legislatures and control congressional redistricting processes. Republicans were then able
to take redistrict in favor of a republican controlled congress being elected. This plan was entitled
The Redistricting Majority Project or REDMAP (Daley 2016). After the 2008 election, the future
of the Republican Party looked grim. Obama took Republican strongholds like Virginia and North
Carolina and Democrats took control of both the House of Representatives and the Senate during
the election. Chris Jankowski, a member of the Republican State Leadership Committee, came up
with a plan to help the Republicans gain control of the state legislatures. He realized the
importance of the 2010 mid term elections with the upcoming census, whichever party controlled
the state legislatures got to control the redistricting process for congressional districts in 42 of 50
states (Daley 2016). Jankowski had $30 million dollars to invest in states that Republicans could
control both governors office and the legislature. His REDMAP team would create priority lists of
swing states, to state houses, and finally to state senates that they had to win. Republicans focused
their time and energy on areas that they believed that they could swing red or keep red by calling,

Napoleon Bonaparte Isolation
The French Revolution brought about a new era in Europe through Enlightenment ideas. The
greatest product of the Revolution was Napoleon Bonaparte. Without the Revolution Napoleon s
genius at military tactics and statesmen charisma would be lost. There is only greatness in people
if given the opportunity to show that greatness. Napoleon s life is not merely one of conquest and
domination, but a series of opportunities gained through the Revolution. Napoleon had great
promise in his youth that would have otherwise been subject to a menial military career. His
journey from birth to Emperor of France dictates more than megalomania; it is a passion to create
an egalitarian Europefree from the rule of Kingdoms. In every station of his life; childhood... Show

There was a discourse around France calling for reform and complaints from all castes of French
society, but none, not even Napoleon, could anticipate the events about to unfold. The storming of
the Bastille in on July 14th, 1789 did not lead Napoleon to cheer for the liberation of France, but
more the liberation of his beloved Corsica. As Napoleon put it, not the least craziness about the
French Revolution is that those who once put us to death as rebels are today our protectors, are
motivated by our sentiments (Englund, 39). The Revolution meant to Napoleon that his dream
of a free Corsican Republic was at last possible. However, with the emigration of the nobility out
of France left few officers to lead the military and kept Napoleon in France for a time. Napoleon
was one of the few that stayed and fought for the Republic. He was sent to Toulon to help repel the
British fleet. The fact that Napoleon was ambitious and assertive does not diminish the fact that he
believed in the values of the Enlightenment. Napoleon fought for the Republic continuously proving
his loyalty to the Republic and the Revolution. Napoleon s victories throughout Italy were to
liberate people from the oppression of foreign rule. This being said it is not a mistake that he did
not have much faith in the ability of common men to maintain said freedom. A look at Bonaparte s
letters indicates that what surprised and

Isolation And Social Isolation
Canada s aging population is growing. One of the number one emerging issue facing seniors is
social isolation. Statistics Canada s 2008/09 Canadian Community Health Survey found that 19%
of individuals aged 65 or over felt a lack of companionship, left out, or isolated from others
(National Seniors Council, 2014). Social isolation is not the same as loneliness. It is a form of
emotion that makes people depression. Social isolation impacts on seniors quality of life, mental
and physical health. To reduce the social isolation is the way seniors are connected socially. For
example, there are exercise programs and communityengaged art programs for the elderly in the
community. This programis effective for seniors physical and mental health. Although such
programs have beneficial effects on seniors health, some studies argue that there are barriers to
reducing the social isolation of older people in such programs. Community programs and
community participation programs benefit from the seniors physical, emotional and social well
being. The purpose of the Community exercise program is a socialization based exercise program
to improve the seniors health. Community arts programs aim to promote optimal health for seniors.
However, it is difficult to reduce the social isolation without using these objectives potentially.

1.56. Discuss the agency problem in detail.
An agent is hired by the principal to perform some duty that benefits the needs of the principal. The
agency problem is an issue that occurs when the agents use their authority to make decisions in their
own interest at the expense of the principals. For example, company managers (agents) were put in
place to make decisions that maximize the wealth of the shareholders (principals) but may instead
engage in empire building or may make inefficient company decisions for job security. In order to
mitigate these potential agency problems, several mechanisms have evolved. These include directly
tying the compensation of managers to the success of the firm; oversight and influence by the
board of directors as well as outsiders such as security analysts, creditors, or large institutional
investors; the threat of a proxy contest by unhappy shareholders to replace the current management
team; or the threat of takeover by another firm. However, most of these mechanisms have a low
chance of success or can create other problems. The best mechanism that prevents agency problems
is the threat of takeover by another firm. If the

Streptococcus pneumoniae was discovered by Louis Pasteur in pneumonia patients in 1881. It is a
gram positive coccus that forms short chains or more commonly, pairs and classified in its own
genus, called Diplococcus . Streptococcus pneumonie is a pneumococcal pneumonia consists about
85 % of all cases of pneumonia. Around ninety two different strains of S. Pneumoniae, collectively
called pneumococci, are known to cause harm on humans. Streptococcus pneumonia is a member of
pharyngeal microbiota that can colonize the lungs, sinuses, and middle ear. They are round shaped,
unpigmented grown for 24 hours. The Individual cells of streptococcus are between 0.5 and 1.25

older cells. Colonies are alpha hemolytic on blood agar when grown aerobically and beta

Dimmesdale as an individual and through his secret actions symbolize how self centered and

Social Penetration Essay
Social Penetration Theory The Social Penetration Theory is an explanation by two communication
theorists, Irwin Altman and Dalmas Taylor. This theory attempts to explain how relational
closeness develops. Since we all have hundreds of different relationships, with thousands of
different people during our lifetime, it is an important theory to study and understand. The Social
Penetration Theory can be compared to an onion. The comparison stems from the idea that an
onion has many layers, just like a human s personality. There is an outside layer that is visible to
everyone, but underneath that there are several layers that get deeper and deeper. All of us have

The first stage of the Social Penetration Process is the orientation stage which occurs at a public
level, revealing small parts about ourselves. Rose and Jack enter this stage when Jack sees Rose
standing at the edge of the boat. He approached her for the first time and talked her out of
committing suicide. The only interaction they have at this stage is an introduction. The next
day, Rose finds Jack and thanks him for helping her. While talking they seem to disclose more
and more information about each other. They now enter the exploratory stage. They now
expand to public areas about themselves about their hobbies and personal situations. Jack and
Rose were quite comfortable with each other and entered the third stage of the process; the
affective exchange stage. Social penetration in this stage is spontaneous and comfortable. They
begin to show reciprocity, which is when one person s openness leads to the others openness.
Jack does this by asking if she loves her fiancГ©, a very personal question. It seems as if the
more they disclose about each other, the more they like each other, and the more they seem to
have in common. This leads Jack and Rose into the stable exchange stage which pertains to
complete openness and spontaneous. At this point in the movie it is evident that both Jack and
Rose have feelings for each other. At this layer in the relationship, we can look at the cost and
rewards of the situation. The cost of Rose

and features are still being used and are they still as effective in todays modern society.
Nazi propaganda can be dated back to 1926 when Hitler wrote his book Mein Kampf (ushmm,
2015) Hitler wrote two chapters about war propaganda, which he always expressed how the power
and destruction that propaganda could cause in the right hands, and the importance of mass
communication through different mediums. The first duty of the propagandist is to win over
people who can subsequently be taken into the organization. And the first duty of the organization
is to select and train men who will be capable of carrying on the propaganda Hitler continues by
saying The second duty of the organization is to disrupt the existing order of things and thus make
room for the penetration of the new teaching which it represents, while the duty of the organizer
must be to fight for the purpose of securing power, so that the doctrine may finally triumph. (James
Murphy, 2011)

Physical Therapy, Pt, And Occupational Therapy
Physical therapy, PT, and occupational therapy, OT, are two careers that help people heal and
rehabilitate. PTs and OTs may seem similar at a glance, but they have just as many differences. The
job descriptions and history vary, but the salary, requirements, and goals are fairly alike. They both
take much skill and expertise, and few people actually understand the difference between the two.
Therapy is the treatment of disease or disability through rehabilitation processes. Both physical and
occupational therapists treat patients who have injuries or disabilities. A physical therapist treats
patients with specifically physical disabilities. They help patients recuperate from pain and
injuries, and they are also a huge part of the rehab process after a surgery. WISCareers states that
they design treatment programs, teach patients how to do certain exercises, and demonstrate how
to use assistive devices (WISCareers Physical). The goal of physical therapy is to help the patient
become as independent as possible in their daily activities. PTs play a vital role in treating patients
with acquired or inborn disabilities, injuries from playing a sport, or post surgery pain or weakness.
Similarly, occupational therapy oversees rehabilitation and healing physically, however, it
encompasses treatment of cognitive disabilities as well. An OT s goal is to help patients live
independently, despite disorders, special needs, or diseases. An article on WISCareers says that

The USA always had a manifest destiny mindset .In fact fur U.S. Presidents passed acts to support
this ideology It all started with the creation of the Monroe Doctrine in 1823. This is a U.S. Foreign
Policy, announced by President James Monroe that stated the opposition to any European
interference within the affairs of the Western Hemisphere. European nations couldn t colonize land
or interfere with states in the South or North America. If Europe tried to expand or colonize in the
Americas, it would be viewed as acts of aggression, which would require the U.S. to attack or

William Howard Taft granted Haiti a large loan in hopes that Haiti may pay off its international

because of the internal instability of the country.
The United States became increasingly involved with heightened German activity and influence in

Prison Corrections
When it comes to working in a correctional facility, Samuel Cowey states, I firmly believe that
you must have a good sense of humor to do this job. If you don t it will lead to an early grave from
stress (Cowey, 2012). This statement is true from the highest position of authority to the lowest
position. The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) houses juveniles
and adults that have been convicted to state prisonand provides programs and services during their
incarceration to help them successfully re enter society. Some of the services that are provided in
the prison system are: substance abuse treatment, mental health care, vocational training, education
and transitional aftercare housing. CDCR has 33 adult... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The recent change was part of a major reorganization to emphasize the progress toward
rehabilitation to reduce recidivism and to provide inmates with the training and education to
successfully re enter society following the completion of their sentences. Governor Arnold
Schwarzenegger noted that California s $6 billion correctional system suffers from a multitude
of problems out of control costs; a recidivism rate far exceeding that of any other state; reported
abuse of inmates by correctional officers; an employee disciplinary system that fails to punish
wrongdoers; and the failure of correctional institutions to provide youth wards and inmates with
mandated health care and other services (Unknown, n.d.). California s first prison was a 268 ton
wooden ship named The Waban. It was docked in San Francisco Bay in 1851 and held 30
inmates and quickly reached capacity. California purchased 20 acres of land to build what is now
known as San Quentin State Prison. The inmates aboard The Waban and other prison ships were
responsible for the building of the new prison. The date that the first inmates were used as labor on
the site was July 14, which is Bastille Day (Unknown, n.d.).
Leadership and Organizational Structure
It is believed that individuals that work in correctional facilities end up spending more time in
custody than the inmates themselves. For example: An officer who works for 10 years is

Letter to the Editor
Dear Editor,
I am writing to you in regard to the Bridger Teton National Forest. I write to you as someone who
believes in preservation. I believe that the forest should be preserved and not conserved. The
Bridger Teton National Forest is a landmark and should be kept that way. It is a place where
locals find solitude in huge tracts of forest backcountry when nearby wilderness areas and national
parks are crowded with out of state visitors. It s also a place that supports traditional, sustainable
activities such as outfitting, guiding, ranching, and recreation ( Wyoming Outdoor Council 2009
2013). All of these values are being threatened because the forest is being considered for oil and
gas development. While oil and gas may be useful to us, I do not think that the forest should suffer
the consequences. The natural resources should be left alone for everyone to enjoy in its natural
state. To upset this would be environmentally incorrect.
Although Wyoming is a key principal as an energy provider, there are many downsides to

The Benefits Of Birdwatching
1.Anyone can enjoy birdwatching from home General ways to enjoy Bird watching: Bird
watching should involve a careful observation and letting the beauty of the nature overtake you.
This activity can be made more convenient once we keep birds around our homes. You will not
have to leave your premises so as to watch birds. Keeping your environment ideal for attraction
of backyard birds is also enjoyable. The pair of birding binoculars that you choose should be of
good quality. This will make birding more enjoyable. The following suggestions can help you in

Your plans for planting flowers should begin in the middle of winter. Landscaping for the birds
is begun by trees and bushes. Some flowers attract birds of certain types. The birds are not
always in need of the blossoms themselves. They are in need of the seeds which come later. The
different types of daisies form seeds which are generous and nutritious. The seeds are then left
for the birds to feed on. When the seed heads have been dried, you will get sparrows, finches,
cardinals, and towhes. This is why you should avoid deadheading all the blossoms once
blooming is over. The blossoms will appear first. In winter, your garden will bloom with finches
and cardinals. Zinnias are easy flowers for one to grow. Birds love them for their seeds. The
colors that you choose are very important. The zinnias will attract butterflies to your yard and
these will provide food for the birds. Hummingbirds These types of birds are easily drawn by the
red color. To attract these birds, plant red flowers in your garden. These birds usually check for

Cultural Influences
Cultural Influences
You enter another country and notice many odd, unique things you ve never seen or interacted with
before. In this world, there are many cultures that express themselves differently.
We re all born and raised differently from each other . Each culture may do things that contradict
with what we know, but it s how each culture was brought up. It is clear when considering an
individual s education, family, environment, and race that culture is always a huge impact on how
someone views the world.
Education is one cultural influence that makes people view the world in different perspectives.
One text that can relate to this is in An Indian Father s Plea quoting, So I realize he may be slow
in grasping the methods and tools that you are now using in your classroom, ones quite familiar
to his white peers, but I hope you will be patient with him. It takes time to adjust to a new
cultural system and learn new things (Lake 77). The son here was educated differently than his
classmates. This caused the teacher to believe he is slow in learning because he wasn t taught the
way they teached. Another text is by Everyday Use stating, She washed us in a river of make
believe, burned us with a lot of knowledge we didn t necessarily need to know (Walker 60). The
daughter tries to teach her family things that they don t deem is
Aguilar, Manzano, Rugerio, Schott, Zamora 2 necessary or important because it isn t useful for
them in their daily lives. In the end, education is a major factor in how individuals scope the world.
Family is one of the most influential part of someone s perspective on the world s culture.
Family influences their point of view on how they are raised and also how families develop their
traditions, hobbies, and beliefs. For example in In Indian Father s Plea the father said, If you were
to ask him how many months are there in a year, he would probably tell you
13; he has been taught by our traditional people that there are 13 full moons in a year according
to the native tribal calendar (Lake 78). In Everyday Use Maggie learned how to quilt because
quilting is pent off her family s hobbies and their culture. It was grandma Dee and Big Dee who
taught her how to quilt (Walker

Anticipatory Grief
Empirical referents are cases or categories of actual observable phenomena that are measurable
(Walker Avant, 1995). The empirical referents of anticipatory grief were determined from the
refining of the characteristics of it through reviewing model and additional cases above. The
empirical referents of anticipatory griefare: i) having perception and acknowledgement, ii) the
timing is prior to their own or others loss or death, iii) having grief symptom clusters, and iv) its
intensity depending on grief work or the closeness to the person or the thing.
Antecedents
Anticipatory grief is the results of several factors. These risk factors and causes are the antecedents

There are several distinct meanings of anticipatory grief based on the four resources from non
nursing disciplines in the following explication.
The first study is one psychology professor s autobiographical case (Comerchero, 2014). The
timing of anticipatory grief can even be after the loss from a different view in this study. The
author argued that anticipatory grief can occur while currently experiencing the death of her loved
one, which is distinguished from the definition of anticipatory grief in nursing discipline. Even
after the loss, individuals coping process can be present in anticipatory grief based on the model of
Elisabeth KГјbler Ross (1969). The second study described the distinct pattern of experiencing
anticipatory grief associated with substance use (Templeton et al., 2016). Some people questioned
their grief because they felt that they do not have the right to grieve and tend to devalue these
deaths. The lack of knowledge and understanding about substance use and stigma can provide
families with different perceptions towards anticipatory grief. The family expressed denial towards
grief and addressed that they do not need to feel grief. This denial and not having grief are distinct
properties compared to one of the attributes of anticipatory grief in nursing

Criminal Procedure Code, 1973
The Code of Criminal Procedure,1973(CrPC) is the main criminal procedural Law of the country.
It regulates the procedure of investigation of crimes, collection of evidence, prosecution of

The Code of Criminal Procedure extended some special protection to children in a proceeding.

Market Segmentation, Market Positioning, Target Market,...
Starting a company, maintaining the company, and growing the company can be done successfully
with adequate research and analysis. Difficulties arise when there has not been enough examination
of the market segmentation, market positioning, target market, and product augmentation. Each of
these analyses are ways to determine how, where, and when to start a company.
Opening a hotel is never an easy task, but choosing the right city and creating a marketing plan
around the target market is a sure way to have a successful hotel. Denton, Texas is a growing town
just outside of Dallas. The University of North Texas and Texas Woman s University lie at the
center with over 50,000 students flooding the town each year. The population was reaching almost
130,000 in 2014, making almost two thirds of the population college aged students. The median
age in Denton is twenty eight, which is six years younger than the median age in Texas (United

Introduction:
The Domain Name System (DNS) is the system (or agent) responsible for resolving Domain
Names (such as www.google.com) to IP Addresses (such as 212.0.130.23), which is required to
make the Internet usable. This resolution list is distributed throughout the Internet in a hierarchy
of authority. There s normally a DNS server hosted by ISPs (Internet Service Providers) to serve
their clients (Rouse 2005). The basic operation of DNS in a single Internet resource request is
shown in Figure 1 (AFNIC 2009). It functions like a database that is distributed over DNS
machines that interact with each other to be able to respond to a user s query. The top of the
DNS hierarchy contains the top level domains, such as .com, which are controlled by top level
DNS servers. The DNS server implementation which is used for this paper is BIND, which is the
most widely used DNS server implementation on the Internet today.
The Attack Surface of the DNS System:
The following are the general categories of attacks on DNS Servers, in terms of the nature of the
vulnerable target, which give the attacker the ability to impact on the normal behaviour of the DNS
Server and the Internet:
DNS Protocol and Software Bugs specific attacks
DNS Infrastructure Attacks
The first category of attacks concerns vulnerabilities within the anatomy of the DNS protocol and
the software implementation of the protocol. The second category of attacks concerns

A sign could be anything that stands for something else. A signifier is the physical object that

room with shrinkwrap which is used to prevent dust or in this case blood from spattering onto
the floor or couches. Then he took a blood sample to save for his file and proceeded to murder
Emmet in the very place he counseled others into returning home and killing themselves. Codes
are another important aspect of this semiotic analysis. The main set of codes this episode deals
with is between good and evil. These codes can also be viewed at times as paradigms because of
the way the codes are setup. The idea of good versus evil is apparent in the battle Dexter wages
against serial killers. Dexter sets out to kill those, such as the therapist, who are taking advantage
of others, or who have actually murdered others as in previous episodes. This raises the question,
might Dexter actually be a good person? Although he may only be murdering those who deserve it,
he is still committing one of the most gruesome crimes possible with no remorse. Dexter even

Atopic Dermatitis Research
Atopic dermatitis, also known as eczema, is a form of chronic skin condition. An estimated 15
20% of children in New Zealand suffer from this. There have been numerous studies examining the
relationship between eczema and quality of life. Results reveal that as severity is high, quality of
life is low. Although these researches provide evidence for the effects of eczema, they do not
examine the effects of eczema and self esteem on the severity of eczema together. This current
proposed research aims to identify whether quality of life and self esteem has an impact on
severity for children aged between two and eighteen in a cross sectional design. It is hypothesized
that quality of life will be lowest for teenagers and therefore their self esteem... Show more content

Psychoneuroimmunology looks at the relationship between psychosocial influences, mind,
behaviour, immune system and patient s health (Webber, 2010). An underlying model of
research is that when an individual is faced with a stressful event, their immune system worsens
which leads to a decline in their health. There are two ways in which stress affects an individual s
health; directly and indirectly. Direct stresses are those where physiological changes are a result
of stress related arousal such as damage to blood vessels. An example of this is the patient
scratching the affected area when a flare up occurs. This leads to stress in the bodily system
causing the severity to exacerbate. On the other hand, indirect stress is stressors that are related
to a change in behaviour or thinking in the individual which then leads to illness. An example
would be a decline in quality of life as a result of eczema flare up, leading to teasing from peers
and a change in their thinking. As a result, their self esteem decreases leading to an increase in
eczema severity. There have been studies conducted to indicate that eczema flare ups are a
result of everyday psychosocial stress such as death of a loved one or even school or work related
stress. Stress has also been found to change the homeostasis of the skin barrier which results in
flare ups of eczema (Choi et al., 2005 cited by

Equifax Data Breach Analysis
An analysis of the Equifax data breach Introduction A recent increase in large scale data breaches
has exposed a multitude of cybersecurity vulnerabilities that pose a definite risk to consumers
(Lorio, 2017). In some cases, a data breach can distress an establishment so much that other
organizations experience a backlash from the repercussions (Kosseff, 2011). The Equifax data
breach of 2017 is a perfect example of this kind of event as it caused an overwhelming economic
repercussion that affected other major corporations and more than 143 million credit card
customers worldwide (Janakiraman, Lin, Rishika, 2018). The consumer records appropriated in the

How Did Henri Becquerel Discovered The Discovery Of The...
Shortly after the discovery of X rays, another form of strong rays were discovered. In 1896,
French scientist Henri Becquerel discovered natural radioactivity. Many scientists of the period
were working with cathode rays, and other scientists were gathering evidence on the theory that the
atom could be subdivided. Some of the new research showed that certain types of atoms break by
themselves. It was Henri Becquerel who discovered this experience while investigating the
properties of fluorescent minerals. Becquerel was researching the principles of fluorescence,
wherein certain minerals glow (fluoresce) when exposed to sunlight. He utilized photographic
plates to record this fluorescence.
One of the minerals Becquerel worked with was a uranium

Panama s unofficial leader. When the grim reaper would come to claim Herrera, Noriega would

needed the power of the Panama Defense Force (PDF) at his will, and because of his desire for
ultimate power he convinced Ruben Dario Paredes to resign from the leadership position of the
PDF. During his complete control of Panama, he was situated as an ally of the United States

influence the decision variables. Several cases with different values of this parameter are studied.
The different simulations tested in this research consider various times of these three machines.
From the above two method the obtained sequence times are less than the observation time span.
Both method has reduce the time span of job shop but Gupta s heuristicrule has reduce maximum

  • 2. Essay about Improving Change Management Throughout every organization is an opportunity to introduce new change. Change can have a positive or negative impact on the surrounding environment, both internally and externally. Implementing a change requires adjustments to the status quo, sometimes leading to employees that are directly affected by the change to feel threatened. Change can also produce positive reactions, such as boosting morale, increasing profits, or decreasing costs. A new change in an environment must be carefully planned out, to ensure that the expected results are achieved while maintaining all other processes at an acceptable level. There are several factors that contribute to improving change managementwithin a data center of any firm. According to... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This idea is to abandon perfection in favor of action. By forcing a decision making process within a reasonable time frame, this allows the firm to release the ship from the pier. Riskin also correlates this rule to having a positive impact on the esprit de corps of the firm. This rule in particular allows firms that are struggling with introducing change to overcome this resistance. Another valid rule of Riskin s seven is to ask for commitment not agreement (Riskin, 2006, p. 30). This rule displays the need that not everyone in the firm has to be 100% on board with the impending change, but everyone has to be committed enough to the firm to go along with the change. This is invaluable advice for legal firms (such that I have experienced) which struggle to achieve change buy in from select partners. With emphasizing the fact that everyone must be on board for what is best for the firm, it allows the reduction or elimination of possible sabotage efforts from people who are resistant to change. Riskin concludes, fostering change in a law firm seems impossible because most Managing Partners treat the activities associated with such change as if they were component piece of a legal transaction. All of these resistances can be overcome by following the rules outlined by Riskin. When focusing on the practical ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. The Artist Of Brownstones By Jacob Lawrence Topic 1: Brownstones is a bit of abstract art depicting a group of what appear to be African Americans going about their lives on a busy street. This is a clear piece of the architecture that led to the swelling civil rights movement of the 50s. During the 1920s and 1930s, as a result of the combined forces of the Great Migration, the Depression, the Jazz Era, and the Harlem Renaissance, Harlem was transformed into a community with a unique identity. A sanctuary for African American art, this new cultural oasis enjoyed a sense of optimism in spite of economic difficulties. Like many writers and artists of his time, Jacob Lawrence, the artist of Brownstones, was inspired by the dynamic vitality of the Harlem community. One of the more interesting aspects of this is the communal response that was brought about by the Renaissance . Initially during the civil rights movement it was students who marched at the forefront, those with nothing to lose and everything to gain. However, over time the movement blossomed fully, and those from all walks of life stepped up to defend liberty. In the wake of the assassination of Martin Luther King, we as a nation(most of us anyway) stood as one against oppression and hatred. We fought the good fight, without weapons or blows, but with dollars, steps and words. It wasn t a war though. You don t win wars by dying for your country, you win by making the other guy die for his. This was a rebellion, two sides claimed they held the same ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Often people assume they are better than someone else, but are taught otherwise. Society judges one another to the point where they believe they are more prevalent than someone else. In the book To Kill a Mockingbird, fairness and equalityis confused, and not treated right. Since this book is set in a specific time period, racism and genderhave a huge role in the book. The video I Am Malala tries to focus on how women are just as equal as men. A girl named Malala has a strong belief in this topic, and is helping change the way people look at women. Whilst this relationship is a central theme of both poems, the poems also explore a range of issues including cultural identity, guilt and social class. This essay will attempt to analyse both poems individually and to also identify areas of conflict and similarity between the poems. The first two words of Follower by Seamus Heaney are My father which immediately establishes the poet s emotionally involved relationship with the subject of the poem. It is implied to the reader that Seamus Heaney, since childhood, has studied his father s work, which therefore introduces a nostalgic theme to the poem. In contrast whilst there is still a strong sense of admiration present in Strongman, the focus of the narrator s attentions is directed more on to the physical strength of his father rather than any skilful aspect to the work. Tony Curtis uses hyperbole to highlight his father s physical strength Chest like a barrel with a neck that was like holding onto a tree . The second half of the poem shifts a gear to become a haunting collection of personal reflections. Whilst admiration of his father is the dominant emotion in the first half of Follower, it morphs (?) into guilt in the second half. Guilt is a prevailing theme in Seamus Heaney s work. These Infrastructures are not only dictated by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, but by Public health agencies at the state and local level or by private and public organizations. Every healthagency must abide by three core functions in order to promote health in the community. They must first assess by observing the health status of a community, identifying the health issues and providing solutions. Next, they must develop policies and plans that support individual and community health efforts, enforce law and regulations to ensure health safety. Finally, they must assure that the people are informed and educated about health issues. Under these functions, there are also ten essential health services that each agency thrives to provide to the community to ensure proper and quality health care (The Public Health System and the 10 Essential Public Health Services, 2014) The Gwinnett, Rockdale and Newton county health departments collaboratively work to provide a safe, healthy, and prepared community where all individuals have access to quality health care. • 8. Stephen King s Essay Why We Crave Horror Movies Stephen king wrote an essay called Why We Crave Horror Movies. Stephen King is a bestselling novelist. He is a great author to some people. In this essay he writes about how people watch scary movies and do scary things to show they are not afraid. He also says that people enjoy these things. He says that people like blood, murder, and serial killers. He talks about how society rewards certain emotions and looks down on other emotions. He says that we all feel the emotions that society looks down on but people don t let them show as much. He has flaws within his writings and an invalid argument. Stephen King writes a whole essay about why everyone loves horror movies; but what if someone does not like scary movies? That is a hasty generalization. If King does not even engage the other side of the spectra then his argument is easily dismissed. I hate scary movies to the point I will not watch them. If they are on TV I will get up and do something else. I have seen one scary movie and hated it, since then I have not watched another. Just the fact that I hate scary movies disproves his whole argument that everyone craves them, because I do not. In order to have a well developed essay one must give both sides of the argument. Without that then the essay can be easily disproved. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... He uses words like you and your. • 9. Raoul Wallenberg And The Holocaust During the Holocaust, around 6 million Jews died of persecution from many groups of people. But this number could have been much greater if it was not for the efforts of many courageous people. There is not an exact number of how many people were saved during the Holocaust, but the death toll would have been much larger if people, like Raoul Wallenberg, did not help. Raoul Wallenberg was a Swedish businessman and diplomat who showed much moral courage by saving countless Jews during World War II. Raoul Wallenberg was born on August 4, 1912 in Sweden . He was born into one of the richest families in Sweden, the Wallenbergs. Since his family was very wealthy, he had the opportunity to attend college abroad in another continent. In 1931, Wallenberg went to the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in the United States to study architecture. He graduated in three and a half years with a bachelor s degree of Science in Architecture. This bachelor s degree allowed him to come into contact with many Jews that had escaped from Europe during the early years of persecution while he was working on architecture in Palestine (Raoul Wallenberg). In June 1944, the War Refugee Board, or WRB, a U.S. established organization that helped support rescue missions for Jews, recruited Wallenberg to lead their operations in Budapest, Hungary. Republicans were then able to take redistrict in favor of a republican controlled congress being elected. This plan was entitled The Redistricting Majority Project or REDMAP (Daley 2016). After the 2008 election, the future of the Republican Party looked grim. Obama took Republican strongholds like Virginia and North Carolina and Democrats took control of both the House of Representatives and the Senate during the election. Chris Jankowski, a member of the Republican State Leadership Committee, came up with a plan to help the Republicans gain control of the state legislatures. He realized the importance of the 2010 mid term elections with the upcoming census, whichever party controlled the state legislatures got to control the redistricting process for congressional districts in 42 of 50 states (Daley 2016). Jankowski had $30 million dollars to invest in states that Republicans could control both governors office and the legislature. There was a discourse around France calling for reform and complaints from all castes of French society, but none, not even Napoleon, could anticipate the events about to unfold. The storming of the Bastille in on July 14th, 1789 did not lead Napoleon to cheer for the liberation of France, but more the liberation of his beloved Corsica. As Napoleon put it, not the least craziness about the French Revolution is that those who once put us to death as rebels are today our protectors, are motivated by our sentiments (Englund, 39). The Revolution meant to Napoleon that his dream of a free Corsican Republic was at last possible. However, with the emigration of the nobility out of France left few officers to lead the military and kept Napoleon in France for a time. Napoleon was one of the few that stayed and fought for the Republic. He was sent to Toulon to help repel the British fleet. The fact that Napoleon was ambitious and assertive does not diminish the fact that he believed in the values of the Enlightenment. Napoleon fought for the Republic continuously proving his loyalty to the Republic and the Revolution. Napoleon s victories throughout Italy were to liberate people from the oppression of foreign rule. An agent is hired by the principal to perform some duty that benefits the needs of the principal. The agency problem is an issue that occurs when the agents use their authority to make decisions in their own interest at the expense of the principals. For example, company managers (agents) were put in place to make decisions that maximize the wealth of the shareholders (principals) but may instead engage in empire building or may make inefficient company decisions for job security. In order to mitigate these potential agency problems, several mechanisms have evolved. These include directly tying the compensation of managers to the success of the firm; oversight and influence by the board of directors as well as outsiders such as security analysts, creditors, or large institutional investors; the threat of a proxy contest by unhappy shareholders to replace the current management team; or the threat of takeover by another firm. However, most of these mechanisms have a low chance of success or can create other problems. The best mechanism that prevents agency problems is the threat of takeover by another firm. If the ... He was torturing himself and receiving physical pain in various ways; he whipped himself, stared at the mirror for periods of time, and starved himself. Even though he didn t reveal his sin to the public, his heart was still making itself guilty of such secrets (127). He felt very guilty for the agony that Hester has been through. The only interaction they have at this stage is an introduction. The next day, Rose finds Jack and thanks him for helping her. While talking they seem to disclose more and more information about each other. They now enter the exploratory stage. They now expand to public areas about themselves about their hobbies and personal situations. Jack and Rose were quite comfortable with each other and entered the third stage of the process; the affective exchange stage. Social penetration in this stage is spontaneous and comfortable. They begin to show reciprocity, which is when one person s openness leads to the others openness. Jack does this by asking if she loves her fiancГ©, a very personal question. It seems as if the more they disclose about each other, the more they like each other, and the more they seem to have in common. This leads Jack and Rose into the stable exchange stage which pertains to complete openness and spontaneous. PTs and OTs may seem similar at a glance, but they have just as many differences. The job descriptions and history vary, but the salary, requirements, and goals are fairly alike. They both take much skill and expertise, and few people actually understand the difference between the two. Therapy is the treatment of disease or disability through rehabilitation processes. Both physical and occupational therapists treat patients who have injuries or disabilities. A physical therapist treats patients with specifically physical disabilities. They help patients recuperate from pain and injuries, and they are also a huge part of the rehab process after a surgery. WISCareers states that they design treatment programs, teach patients how to do certain exercises, and demonstrate how to use assistive devices (WISCareers Physical). The goal of physical therapy is to help the patient become as independent as possible in their daily activities. PTs play a vital role in treating patients with acquired or inborn disabilities, injuries from playing a sport, or post surgery pain or weakness. The recent change was part of a major reorganization to emphasize the progress toward rehabilitation to reduce recidivism and to provide inmates with the training and education to successfully re enter society following the completion of their sentences. Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger noted that California s $6 billion correctional system suffers from a multitude of problems out of control costs; a recidivism rate far exceeding that of any other state; reported abuse of inmates by correctional officers; an employee disciplinary system that fails to punish wrongdoers; and the failure of correctional institutions to provide youth wards and inmates with mandated health care and other services (Unknown, n.d.). California s first prison was a 268 ton wooden ship named The Waban. It was docked in San Francisco Bay in 1851 and held 30 inmates and quickly reached capacity. California purchased 20 acres of land to build what is now known as San Quentin State Prison. The inmates aboard The Waban and other prison ships were responsible for the building of the new prison. It will provide help for all of us as well as maintain its wildlife and scenic vistas. Letter to the Editor Dear Editor, I am writing to you in regard to the Bridger Teton National Forest. I write to you as someone who believes in preservation. I believe that the forest should be preserved and not conserved. The Bridger Teton National Forest is a landmark and should be kept that way. It is a place where locals find solitude in huge tracts of forest backcountry when nearby wilderness areas and national parks are crowded with out of state visitors. It s also a place that supports traditional, sustainable activities such as outfitting, guiding, ranching, and recreation ( Wyoming Outdoor Council 2009

While oil and gas may be useful to us, I do not think that the forest should suffer the consequences. The natural resources should be left alone for everyone to enjoy in its natural state. • 31. Cultural Influences Cultural Influences You enter another country and notice many odd, unique things you ve never seen or interacted with before. In this world, there are many cultures that express themselves differently. We re all born and raised differently from each other . Each culture may do things that contradict with what we know, but it s how each culture was brought up. It is clear when considering an individual s education, family, environment, and race that culture is always a huge impact on how someone views the world. Education is one cultural influence that makes people view the world in different perspectives. One text that can relate to this is in An Indian Father s Plea quoting, So I realize he may be slow in grasping the methods and tools that you are now using in your classroom, ones quite familiar to his white peers, but I hope you will be patient with him. It takes time to adjust to a new cultural system and learn new things (Lake 77). The son here was educated differently than his classmates. This caused the teacher to believe he is slow in learning because he wasn t taught the way they teached. Another text is by Everyday Use stating, She washed us in a river of make believe, burned us with a lot of knowledge we didn t necessarily need to know (Walker 60). The daughter tries to teach her family things that they don t deem is Aguilar, Manzano, Rugerio, Schott, Zamora 2 necessary or important because it isn t useful for them in their daily lives. In the end, education is a major factor in how individuals scope the world. Family is one of the most influential part of someone s perspective on the world s culture. Family influences their point of view on how they are raised and also how families develop their traditions, hobbies, and beliefs. For example in In Indian Father s Plea the father said, If you were to ask him how many months are there in a year, he would probably tell you 13; he has been taught by our traditional people that there are 13 full moons in a year according to the native tribal calendar (Lake 78). The second study described the distinct pattern of experiencing anticipatory grief associated with substance use (Templeton et al., 2016). Some people questioned their grief because they felt that they do not have the right to grieve and tend to devalue these deaths. The lack of knowledge and understanding about substance use and stigma can provide families with different perceptions towards anticipatory grief. Introduction: The Domain Name System (DNS) is the system (or agent) responsible for resolving Domain Names (such as www.google.com) to IP Addresses (such as 212.0.130.23), which is required to make the Internet usable. This resolution list is distributed throughout the Internet in a hierarchy of authority. There s normally a DNS server hosted by ISPs (Internet Service Providers) to serve their clients (Rouse 2005). The basic operation of DNS in a single Internet resource request is shown in Figure 1 (AFNIC 2009). It functions like a database that is distributed over DNS machines that interact with each other to be able to respond to a user s query. The top of the DNS hierarchy contains the top level domains, such as .com, which are controlled by top level DNS servers. The DNS server implementation which is used for this paper is BIND, which is the most widely used DNS server implementation on the Internet today. The Attack Surface of the DNS System: The following are the general categories of attacks on DNS Servers, in terms of the nature of the vulnerable target, which give the attacker the ability to impact on the normal behaviour of the DNS Server and the Internet:

They include signs, a signifier and signified, codes, opposition, code confusion, intertexuality, paradigms, and syntagyms. Before delving into the analysis, the meaning of each of these terms and their relation to semiotics must be made clear. A sign could be anything that stands for something else. A signifier is the physical object that represents something else, while the signified is the image the object relays. Codes are a set of rules that govern everything. Eventually after a few sessions and some snooping around, Dexter learns that Emmet counseled those three women and many others into committing suicide. This discovery led Dexter to murder the psychiatrist. Psychiatrists are often referred to as shrinks . The title Shrink Wrap was a sign and form of foreshadowing of Dexter s next murder victim. Like all his victims Dexter wrapped Emmet down to a table, which this time was in Emmet s own office, and covered the room with shrinkwrap which is used to prevent dust or in this case blood from spattering onto the floor or couches. Then he took a blood sample to save for his file and proceeded to murder Emmet in the very place he counseled others into returning home and killing themselves. Codes are another important aspect of this semiotic analysis. The main set of codes this episode deals with is between good and evil. These codes can also be viewed at times as paradigms because of the way the codes are setup. The idea of good versus evil is apparent in the battle Dexter wages against serial killers. Dexter sets out to kill those, such as the therapist, who are taking advantage of others, or who have actually murdered others as in previous episodes. This raises the question, might Dexter actually be a good person? Psychoneuroimmunology looks at the relationship between psychosocial influences, mind, behaviour, immune system and patient s health (Webber, 2010). An underlying model of research is that when an individual is faced with a stressful event, their immune system worsens which leads to a decline in their health. There are two ways in which stress affects an individual s health; directly and indirectly. Direct stresses are those where physiological changes are a result of stress related arousal such as damage to blood vessels. An example of this is the patient scratching the affected area when a flare up occurs. This leads to stress in the bodily system causing the severity to exacerbate. On the other hand, indirect stress is stressors that are related to a change in behaviour or thinking in the individual which then leads to illness. An example would be a decline in quality of life as a result of eczema flare up, leading to teasing from peers and a change in their thinking. As a result, their self esteem decreases leading to an increase in eczema severity. There have been studies conducted to indicate that eczema flare ups are a result of everyday psychosocial stress such as death of a loved one or even school or work related stress.
