This document outlines a lesson plan for teaching trigonometric functions to an 11th grade class consisting of 5 boys and 6 girls from various ethnic backgrounds. The teacher will use Quizlet flashcards and a question posted to their blog to help 80% of students understand trig functions by the end of the lesson. Students will be organized into groups to play a game using the Quizlet flashcards and the blog question will evaluate their understanding of the concepts taught.

Analyze the Learner
My students will learn Trigonometric Functions. I will be teaching this to my 11th grade class
consisting of five boys and six girls. Consisting of two African Americans, five Americans and four
Russians.
State Objective
My students will use Quizlet, the flipcard program. They will also be using my blog to answer a
question I post on it. By the end of the day eighty percent of my class will know and understand Trig
functions.
Select media methods and materials
I will be using Quizlet to make up notecards with each trig function on a different card. Also I will
be posting a question on my blog to see if they were able to retain the information on Quizlet.
Utilize media and materials
In class, on the SmartBoard, will be the quiz let flipcards. I will be putting them in groups and
making a game out of this activity. Also my question on my blog will pertain to trig functions.
Require Learners participation
Once they are in groups I will be presenting the cards, in which they will be asked to answer the
question. Each group will get a minimum of one chance to answer a question.
