My third grade class will be able to say their 3, 4, 5, and 6s by the
end of today. They will go over all the songs they had been taught.
They will also same them aloud after. The students will be quizzed
by matching the answers with the equation one on one with me.
They will also be playing many of the games they had already
played to go over the tables before they come to me. They will be
presenting their scrapbook to the class. They will be able to recite
these with 100% accuracy by the end of the day.
S- Select Methods, Media, and Material
Based on the different skill levels of the students, they will go over
the songs from the beginning of the week. They will also get on
the computer to play games to make sure they know there
multiplication tables. They will also be quizzing one another by
writing down a problem and their group has to give an answer
and whoever makes it to ten first raises their hand and they will
get a prize. I will give them all a number or equation and they
have to find their partner who has the other part to their
equation.
U- Utilize Media and Material
The students will play some games on the Internet and go over
the songs they had learned earlier on in the week. They will get to
write down their favorite equation and make it colorful. The
students will get to quiz one another on the Smart Board as well.
During this time, they will get to listen to what they recorded on
the PodCast.
R- Require Learners Participation
The students will be doing all this in class. They will be
participating by playing many of the games they enjoy. They will
also get to present their scrapbook to the class as a show and tell.
They will explain why they made some of the pictures and will tell
the class what their favorite equation is and why.
E- Evaluate and Revise
We will go over all songs as a class and ask each student to come
up and sing their favorite song or say their favorite multiplication
table. They will be graded on how well they do with the games
and if they did well matching the number and the equation with
me. They will also get points for their creativeness on the
scrapbook and participating with the class.
