This document outlines a 5-day lesson plan for teaching linear equations to a 9th grade class of 10 boys and 8 girls. The lesson plan covers writing linear equations in various forms, including slope-intercept, point-slope, standard, and using two points. Students will learn through board work, games, and using a SMART board and computers for interactive activities. The goal is for 90% of students to understand linear equations. Technology like the SMART board and computers will be used for problems, crosswords, and games.
Here is the improved and edited detailed lesson plan with a subject matter SSS Congruence Postulate. I uploaded the old version and now I upload the edited one. you can always download this one..maybe it could help you.

GRAPHS THE SYSTEMS OF LINEAR EQUATIONS IN TWO VARIABLES
From: 21st Century Lessons: A Boston Teachers Union Initiative and Corey Cheever. Use this Common Core State Standards aligned lesson to engage middle school math students with learning about identifying the slope of a line, and graphing a line with a given slope. The "Do Now" will remind students about the order of operations when dealing with negative numbers and fraction bars. Then, the students will see a demonstration of positive, negative, zero, and undefined slope. During the exploration, students will find slope by definition (rise/run), and the practice will turn towards the slope formula. Finally, the homework assignment investigates slope with regards to geometry. This learner's module talks about the topic or lesson Proportional Segments. This also includes the types of Proportional Segments and its corresponding definitions and examples of each Proportional Segment.
The student will demonstrate an understanding of algebra by solving linear equations with one variable. Also understanding expressions, equations, inequalities, linear and quadratic functions can be represented in multiple ways.

This is my first made lesson plan ...
i thought before that its hard to make lesson plan but being just resourceful and with the help of different methods and strategies in teaching we can have our guide for highly and better teaching instruction:)..

Detailed Lesson Plan (ENGLISH, MATH, SCIENCE, FILIPINO)Junnie Salud
Thanks everybody! The lesson plans presented were actually outdated and can still be improved. I was also a college student when I did these. There were minor errors but the important thing is, the structure and flow of activities (for an hour-long class) are included here. I appreciate all of your comments! Please like my fan page on facebook search for JUNNIE SALUD.
*The detailed LP for English is from Ms. Juliana Patricia Tenzasas. I just revised it a little.

Harvard Graduate School Education: teaching cs to teachersMark Guzdial
CS Teacher Ed Requires different goals and methods than CS Major (software professional developer) education. Talks about (a) what successful teachers know, (b) student misconceptions, and (c) about MediaComp as a model of non-major/non-developer intro CS.
2. Analyze the Learner
My students will learn how to write linear
equation in slope intercept form, when given two
points, when given the slope and a point, the
point slope form of a linear equation, the
standard form of a linear equation and be able to
use a scatter plot to find the equation of the line.
Ill be teaching this to my 9th grade class which has
10 boys and 8 girls.
3. Objective
I will be teaching Linear equations to my class by
mostly board work but there is crosswords and
games for each section I plan on using. There will
be problems on the smart board before class
starts for the students to answer. Also I will use
the flip card method for definitions. 90% of my
students will know and understand Linear
equations.
4. Day by Day
Day 1: Writing linear equations in point-slope
form and in slope-intercept form
Day 2: Writing linear equations given the slope
and a point, also given two points
Day 3: The standard form of a linear equation
Day 4: Fitting a line to data
Day 5: Predicting with linear models
5. Use of Technology
Ill be conducting class with the use of a SMART
Board where students will come up and answer
problems before class. Also the use of computers
for the students to complete crosswords and math
games and the flip card activity.
