This document outlines a lesson plan for teaching Suzanne Collins' book Mockingjay to a 12th grade Advanced Placement English class over the course of a week. The class has 23 students ranging in age from 16 to 18, from various cultural backgrounds. The lesson plan utilizes various technologies and materials for students to engage with the text through blogging, group discussions, videos, and a wiki. The objective is for 85% of students to accurately analyze and interpret writing, apply writing techniques, create arguments, and analyze images by the end of the week.
